The employee who works the front door area, promised me I would see a credit refund in my account. He lied. I never got any credit as promised. Now I had to call the toll free number to get my refund. The service at this new location is terrible. The staff are poorly trained.

As there are no tellers, there are state of the art machines to deposit you money and pay bills. They also take coins.
The financial advisers are well versed in various languages and specialize in leading, investments and financial planning… just to name a few.

This is a TD facility yes but it does not have any tellers there. If you’re looking for US dollars you can’t get it from the employees here since the employees are only advisors.
These advisors speak up to 10 different languages and specialize in personal lending (including mortgages), investments, financial planning, and various new accounts.
In this branch it may seem like a lounge at an airport rather than a bank because it doesn’t feel like a bank.
There are even coin machines that will accept loads of coins and deposit directly into your TD account as well as an ATM that is interactive and will give you denominations of your choice down to 5 dollar bills.
The hours are also later like some TD branches, up to 8pm on weekdays.

Swanky day-​time lounge? Your living room? Bank? Yes, all three descriptions would be accurate ways of describing TD Canada Trust’s newest concept branch — the TD Help and Advice Centre. A place where they’ve figured out a way to actually live their «banking can be this comfortable» slogan.
Innovation abound, buckle up because this is not your grandfathers, fathers… heck it’s not even your older brothers bank, so you might be surprised at how they’re upping their game to service a new younger generation of clientele.
The biggest difference you might notice, there are ZERO tellers. That’s right, no lining up to deposit your cheques, take out small bills, international currency exchange. But not to worry, where there once was a teller, there is a new innovative ATM that allows you to do many of these transactions, including taking out small bills from your account. Want $ 20 in $ 5 bill increments? You can here!
How about when you use the regular ATM? Well that is a standard experience, except when the front desk welcome staff walks over and offers you a coffee, tea or glass of water while you’re taking your money out!
They are also home to one of the only vaults with absolutely no cash money in. So why have it? So you can rent a safety deposit box, the whole thing is filled with them. The brand manager (Andrew) explained that SDB’s are hard to come by and these boxes are selling like hot cakes — so if you’re looking for one act fast.
Now for the most impressive feature in my opinion, their layout. Couches and lounge chairs everywhere, free wifi and mobile phone charging stations. The reason for this? While they currently have 3 offices for your more intimate and lengthy transactions (loans, mortgages, bank account set up, etc), before long you’ll have the option of taking these meetings on a couch with an adviser and the only piece of technology between the two of you will be an ipad. So you can choose to have your meeting on a couch in their lounge, on bar stools side by side on a counter, OR even in their heavily beaded curtain enclosed area known as ‘the cloud’. If you still like privacy for your big money talk, not to worry, the offices are still there to meet in!
Overall a very comfortable and innovative banking experience and Mississauga is very lucky to have the first of its kind. Don’t be too jealous if you live in Toronto, TD looks to open the second branch of this kind shortly right near Liberty Village!

The only branch in North America with such a set-​up. It’s like the Disney office of TD bank. The psychedelic bead curtain waiting area, lamps, everybody is serving you coffee, tea or water. They don’t have tellers what eliminates the «miserable person in a box» element. Very relaxed, great team of employees! I’m sitting here right now after getting my stuff done and I don’t want to leave. Andrew Ostos, the branch manager might need to kick me out! It’s like I’m hanging with my buddies… who give great financial advice.
