Patti’s Good Food

Place is old and ugly, washroom stinks and you can smell it if yo are eating in the dinning room, The Owner’s are always yelling at the employees. You can hear them screaming LL over the restaurant. the drinking water is dirty and is not safe to drink, This place is belongs in the 70’s.

They treat their staff like garbage. I don’t like waiting for food when they are screaming at their staff. Terrible place. Run screaming.

I’ve been to Patti’s a couple of times and I can tell you its better for lunch than it is for breakfast. Patti’s, in my mind, is primarily a catering company. They serve walk-​in customers in their restaurant but the main buzz is the catering orders they are preparing for the day. The phone was ringing quite a bit so that’s good.
Breakfast however was a bit disappointing. I met with a colleague and had 2 eggs with peameal bacon and home fries. Although we met there at 8:30am, it seems like the bacon and home fries were made much earlier in the day and re-​heated. The peameal was dry and the home fries were somewhat hard. My guest had bacon strips that were very greasy. The coffee was good.
This is a good place to meet a friend or business associate for a coffee and discussion or a sandwich and soup at lunch. The interior, albeit it a bit dated, is comfortable with booths and some tables. The table cloths are a nice touch. The owner Patti (Jr. I gather) is present and her ears perked up when I mentioned I had gone to another location called Patti’s close by. She interjected that it had closed many years ago. It’s always nice to see the owner actively involved in the operation.
If you’re looking for a good spot to grab a coffee and a muffin or a sandwich at lunch and you’re in the Mississauga Road and 401 area, Patti’s is a nice place. The interior is comfortable, the service is good and the value is great. I would give it a better rating for lunch but the breakfast just didn’t do it for me. Perhaps getting there earlier in the morning would have been better.

Dale and Patti sure do know «Good Food» and I sure am glad my colleagues took me across the street to this little gem! Though the place isn’t fancy — the food is delicious and the value is GREAT.
Sorry I can’t speak on parking as I walked, but I can speak on friendliness from the top dog herself «Patti» right to the person taking our order and delivering out food.
The place was decent for cleanliness and my 99.99% of my meal was excellent. The only thing wrong was the cole slaw, which in my opinion was just a little bit on the garlic side. My wrap was the best I’ve ever had — and the fries were cooked perfection!
I would be happy to go back, but I believe they are talking about getting pizza delivered in tomorrow!
