Optical Thirty 8

Ok Unilocalers. Don’t show up unannounced. Take some advise from Chips and set up an appointment with my main man Andy Wong. Trust me on this, you dont want to be just standing around not being assisted by anyone. The location has an Optometrist on site. Opt Fee: $ 75. After my eye exam, I was presented with the fact that I was near sighted and also require bi-​focals. I kind of want to stop writing this review and sulk but, lol. Andy will guide you painlessly through the rest. The place has a great selection. Go! You wont be disappointed.
BTW: I can see!!, OMG, I can see!!! Peace!

This place is great! The people working are super friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to get a same day appointment with the optometrist. I had a groupon which was a great deal, but if you don’t have a groupon they still had other in store deals that were really good. Highly recommend!

Pleasant surprise.
So, I was in need of getting some glasses and the last eye exam was more than teo years ago. I needed a place that could test my eyes and get my prescription filled. I called this place same day and confirmed an eye appointment.
I arrived at the location and was surprised how big it was. With the size they had a lot of glasses to choose from, for fashion or prescription.
Service is friendly, helpful, efficient and satisfying. It was my first pair of eyeglasses and they consultant was patient and understanding as my face shape is your typically lack of nose arch.
The prices are affordable and they have a nice promo of discount with an eye exam which is great as they are on the same place.
Overall, a very good experience and I recommend anybody to go here.
This location is one of three other ones and there service has been still maintained high.

When coming here I was really surprised & shocked as to how good the customer service was.
It was PHENOMENAL. (Would totally bold the world if I could to express how amazing my experience was here.)
As I came through the door they welcomed me and I had came in with a Groupon to use ($ 150 off my purchase).
They explained to me how it works with their product and the deals that were currently going on in the store.
There was a large variety of different frames arranging to no name brands to the familiar/​popular brands you would know (Ray-​bans, Nine West, Michael Kors, etc).
As I was browsing around they had come to me if I needed any assistance and I was specifically looking for a pair of glasses that had a circular lens and a metal frame.
The first gentlemen sat me down and showed me a few pairs of glasses and grabbed me a cup of water (was really kind of him to do so) and then we began discussing what kind of glasses would suite me. Eventually he had to go greet other customers however; the next gentlemen was helpful, very kind, and was knowledgeable about the products.
Eventually I narrowed it down to a Japanese brand named ‘MODO’ and the price of it all was very affordable. The frame itself itself was $ 200, with prescription it came to $ 326, but subtracting the $ 150 from the Groupon it came to $ 176.
After my purchase the gentlemen escorted me out and told me that it would take a week to for the glasses to be finished. He also handed me a gift bag that included a mushroom charm (for your phone), a small bottle of lens cleaner, and a mini cloth.
Overall, the associates were very knowledgeable, honest, helpful, and friendly.
It was a pleasure coming here and will totally recommend Optical Thirty 8 to my peers.
Update: I received my glasses within 2 – 3 days, and I love them! I also forgot to mention that if there are any problems with the glasses, they said you are welcomed to bring them in to get them repaired!

My experience at Optical Thirty 8 in Mississauga was outstanding. Great service, selection and prices. Earlier in the week I had phoned to see if they had a certain style of frame. Even though they didn’t carry it, the associate that helped me (Knuckles) told me that they could order it. AND he quoted me a better price than the other stores I had been to.
So I promised him I’d come in to order the glasses. I’m so glad I did! He gave me such a good deal on the package, as thanks for keeping my word. He also took the time to explain the 5 lens coatings, and the type of lens I was getting. I even got my current pair cleaned and a thank you gift at the end!
The storeroom is bright and beautiful, the associates are warm and knowledgeable. I’ve never had such a friendly and professional optical visit before! Definitely recommending Optical Thirty 8 to everyone, and I’m making this my eyewear store for the future!
