History

Established in 1963.

In 1963, the doors of the first Mister Transmission Service Centre were opened. That event began a business that was founded on three basic operating principles; quality workmanship, attractive pricing, and a strong nationwide warranty. These basic principles continue to guide Mister transmission today. As Canada’s largest chain of transmission specialists, we have always felt it our responsibility to get our customers back on the road as quickly as possible.

We have worked hard to deserve the confidence and trust of our customers and are proud of our efforts to maintain and enhance those standards. At Mister Transmission we take our responsibility for consistent quality workmanship seriously and are constantly upgrading and improving our image of reliability and integrity on a day to day basis.

First let me thank you for visiting my business profile.

I first started working at our family Auto Service center in the 1960s at the age of 14. I continued work there as I was putting myself through school including my B. Sc (Statistics) followed by an Aerospace Engineering Degree with CAE. Eventually I, joined the forces and served for 23 years with the Air Force. Over the years, I held appointments like Director Quality and Chief Engineer in multi-​billion dollar Aircraft Repair and Service facilities.

After all those years, I have now returned to my roots. And it is my promise to you that you will get HONEST and HIGH-​QUALITY service at our Shop at fair prices.
