This is a pretty standard nofrills — no special departments(e.g. bakeries, dollar aisle, meat counter). The produce is generally good but for raw meats I tend to stay away from here in favor of the Walmart in the same plaza. They carry a good selection of ethnic goods around certain holidays(like dairy free pistachio ice cream that I wish they had all year round!). They tend not to have many cardboard boxes in the front(for people who don’t do bags… Or people like me who are moving and refuse to pay ridiculous amounts of money for boxes).

It might be worthwhile for them to put a sign so the customer experience is better for potential hoarders who like to stock up on cheap meat or particular products. Yes because it makes a lot of sense to implement the UNSPOKEN limitation as advertised in the flyer with no limit, and then blatantly in front of the customer act as they are DOING you a favor by not embarrassing you for being a hoarder and have someone come by and pick up the so called excess products that you have gone over their UNSPOKEN and UNWRITTEN limit.

This is the No Frills by my folks’ place; the one I am sent to when my mother needs me to «pick up some yogurt» which is seemingly always. How are we always out of yogurt when I am around? I’m certainly not the one consuming astronomical quantities of the stuff. Is it not possible to buy larger tubs? Actually, I know for a fact that my mom knows how to MAKE yogurt. Why don’t we just do that? It’s gotta be easier than driving over to this place again, and again, and again. Anyway. This No Frills grocery is decent. It’s fairly large and I’ve never been stabbed by a customer or sassed by a disgruntled clerk. It’s also in the same plaza as a Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Rogers, Payless, and other decidedly non-local businesses. This is the suburbs. C’est la vie. Pluses include the fact that it’s enormous and has a good variety of ethnic foods. Sadly, this isn’t one of those No Frills that has a $ 1 bonanza aisle. Those are kind of fun. No matter what I’ll be back here to purchase yogurt for mom. I just know it. Obligatory Title Pun: There’s NOFRILLS like home. Menu Readability: Don Watt, you rule. Need to mention: They have a big bin of spicy Indian snacks. What this place teaches me about myself: I should get into the yogurt making game. Sounds like a good game.

I come here alot since its really close to my home and work. So why not write a review since I’m already a regular here… Fairly big No Frills. Nice staff, But they should really consider hiring more cashiers. Especially near the holidays when there’s 5765429 customers waiting to be cashed out on two cashiers. But we all need food and the low prices from No Frills, so we put up with it. Hence the reason why I still come here. Other than that it’s your regular friendly neighbourhood No Frills.
