Because it’s newer, it’s much nicer than the Square One location. There are many ‘nooks’ featuring different categories, re: Lifestyle, Self-Help, candles, scents, etc. The reason I’m even bothering to rate a chain is based on the niceness of the store AND customer service. I was looking for a 2015 agenda which the website stated this particular location had. So I drove out of my way to pick one up. There were apparently 9 in-stock. I found the section for planners and it was very small, so I had to ask an associate. Sarah was very helpful and she not only looked online to confirm what I was talking about, but she also went that extra step to find out which locations carried them, according to their website, AND call them to find out whether or not they had them on-hand. Rarely do I receive this type of customer service… unless it’s commission-based. So when I do encounter sales associates like this, they definitely stand out!

Pretty much everything I have come to expect from Chapter’s Stores. This location has a lot of gift and non-reading merchandise, but still a lot of variety in terms of reading materials. While I don’t love that bookstores have gotten away from selling books, I understand, and it’s easy enough to go online and buy the books they don’t carry at a lower price(even at !). I have found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable when I need assistance and the cashiers have always been friendly and efficient. No bad experiences to date!

You are always surrounded by the sales associates in this store. Too pushy and you can’t find some peace to browse what you feel like buying on a given day.

Having only been to a book store to ask for directions, my experience with this location was actually pretty great. The place is clean, organized, and the customer service was awesome. We must have been stopped 10 times by workers, seeing if we needed any help. Did notice a lot of the workers on the floor were older, though. Maybe that helps with the customer service. The application to get hired may as well have asked specifically for post-menopausal women. They, very smartly, have a Starbucks attached right to it, which looks great with a book(or so I’m told) It makes one look very sophisticated. I don’t think a Coffeetime would have the same effect, though it would be easier on ones wallet after a book-spree. They have very helpful computers that can take you to whatever book you’re looking for quicker than Kirstie Alley could finish a cheesecake. I left the store with a Joan Rivers book(I’d love to be just like her when I’m 124). It makes finding what your looking for a breeeze. All in all, great atmosphere, smart design, organized lay-out and great customer service. I almost want to start making books a part of my everyday life. Almost.

I’m pretty psyched about this new Indigo store. This location in particular wins in so many levels. well stocked — win free wifi — win an entire section dedicated to manga — win ample seating — win clean, modern bathrooms — win This store is the gold standard of book stores IMO.
