If I’m in an impulsive shopping mood, I’ll go into this H&M because the messy displays and endless queues for the change rooms /cash register put me off spending money on their low-quality clothing every time. I can’t remember the last time I bought anything from H&M that didn’t look gross after a few washes. This store is jam-packed and there is obviously a staffing issue(not enough of them and lacking in presentation of product standards). The clothes seem creased and unappealing and all the different styles are mixed in and in various locations in the store. Luckily GAP is next door, if you want space and sanity when you shop.

Again, I don’t know why people bother with this store! I’ve had to return the last 3 maxi dresses I purchased, because they were completely see-through. How on earth do they justify charging $ 30 for a piece of thin, sheer cotton? The store once again was a disaster, and not a single employee cared. Also the girl at the fitting rooms was OVERIT, giving every customer that walked through major ‘tude. I also noticed(and stormed out of the store because of it) that the majority of the clothes were 10′ high up on racks, virtually impossible to reach for. I’m 5′ tall and already have a hard time reaching things, so this was super duper annoying. Long story short, DONOTSHOPHERE… spend a little more & go to Hudson’s Bay or Top Shop.

Personally I think the quality has gone down the drain on this store and it attracts high school kids now. Any how I do check it out usually as its a quite big store for both guys and girls. there is lot of junk so you will have to hunt for treasures with reasonable price mark based on the quality. But then again if you are looking for a stuff to wear for few months, this is the place.

(I’ll be a bit more generous than the last reviewer. ;) Personally, I don’t buy anything at H&M ’cause I don’t like the quality of their products. HOWEVER, from time to time, I will step foot inside this Square One location while waiting for someone in the washrooms that are across the hall. Whenever I am inside, this place is a complete mess! Merch all over the floor, no sales associates to be found — ‘cept for behind the cash — crazy lines at the Fitting Room/cash, and racks are completely JAMMED. Waaaay too much merchandise on 1 rack, so it’s not shoppable ’cause I can barely look through to find a size. *Maybe* if it was neater, even though I don’t buy anything, just maybe, I’d consider flipping through a rack, but since it’s packed, I just don’t bother. Since this is a high volume location, I’m sure that this place makes their sales, but they can probably sell more if the store was better managed. Just sayin’. Problem seems like understaffing. P. S. The store also looked better before they painted everything black. Seems like a darkened warehouse now.
