Frank McKechnie Community Centre & Library

This community centre has about four tennis courts, lots of benches, a playground and a very small forest trail area outside. The centre also has a rather small library, a swimming pool and a gym inside the building. There is a customer service desk.
It was my first time visiting this community centre; and lucky me they had free coffee and tea, and some cookies for visitors. I think tennis courts could be improved as there were puddles in one of the courts. They could also add lights for people who may want to play at night. The library had nice chairs, couches, cubicles and tables. I had noticed some public libraries didn’t have magazines and newspapers but this one had lots of magazines and newspapers you could pick up and read in comfort. There was free wifi. Overall, the community centre was clean and it seemed like a pretty new building. There are plenty of big parking spaces in front of the building.
