A wonderful bakery in the Erin Mills area! If you’re driving by, you won’t see it from Eglinton Avenue. It’s tucked in the inner portion of the plazas behind the Boston Pizza and Axia, located just across from Sunset Grill and adjacent to National Sports(and just west of the Loblaws at Eglinton Ave and Glen Erin Ave). Great selection of pastries, breads, and cookies. I’ve only ever dropped by for pastries, but it looks like they also have a small hot table, a hot drinks menu, and a small selection of groceries to choose from. Service is sweet and friendly(but a little disorganized — it looks like they get a bit overwhelmed when it gets busy), but otherwise, tables are clean, the store is spacious, lots of pastries and cakes to choose from, and overall, visiting is a pleasant experience. I wasn’t a fan of the Almond Tarts(too much stuffing, minimal flavour, and tasted suspiciously artificial), but their Portuguese Custard Tarts were decent(at $ 1.25 each for all tarts) — a little denser and sweeter than I expected(and the crust isn’t very crispy), but while average, it was still pretty good(not the best in Mississauga, but still fine nonetheless). Will be dropping again by for some cannoli’s sometime soon! For four tarts, I paid $ 5.65.

I used to drop in occasionally to pick up some custard tarts(which are great). Then I tried the veal sandwich and I have to say it’s pretty damn good too. The veal itself can be over cooked and a bit tough sometimes but the bun is fantastic and makes the sandwich. The best part is the price. It is under 6 bucks and while it isn’t the best veal sandwich around is definitely the best value. Service is pretty good and they are always pleasant. The signs around the store always crack me up because they seem a bit scolding and the tone is a bit harsh. «Don’t sit here if you a re ordering takeout!» «We don’t take US currency!» LOL. Anyway the veal sandwich is a hit and the desserts and bread are good.

After my Brazil trip, I became a big fan of Brazilian food and beverages. Here, you can have an icy Guava juice, it won’t let you down. The same flavor like in Rio

Nice little place with great veal sandwich. They also have an amazing pop straight from Brazil which is hard to describe except to say it was thirst quenching! Their Brazilian/Portuguese tarts are okay, not amazing though. Only downside, when we went they had two people working but it seemed quite disorganized and it took a while took have our food prepared.

The cannoli’s are delish!!! Great pastries and bread selection to choose from and all very good as well. Not a fan of their Portuguese custard tarts. Very clean store and rarely busy but for some reason service is always slow
