Note: They do have seating, somewhat large-ish dining room, but I never, ever, ever see anyone dine-in. Most of their business is takeout. Not the cheapest place for roti in the 5&10, but these people KNOW how to stew their meat. This place has been here forever, I swear that I’ve written a review before, so I really don’t know why they have only 1 review. Anyway, before my visit last night, I’ve driven into this parking lot at least 2−3Xs only to find out that it was closed. So check their hours of operation BEFORE you pull into this tricky-to-access lot. It was just under $ 9, before taxes, for a goat roti, bone-in. They charge an additional +$ 2.50 for parantha roti — unlike another popular roti joint around the corner which is the same price for either dhalpuri/parantha. HOWEVER, I must mention that Bara’s goat roti, on this visit, was much, much better better than the more popular place as mentioned above.(At the popular place, my roti was disappointingly bland — can you believe curry that’s not adequately seasomed? — and the roti was on the dry side.) So if I had to choose between the 2, based on my last experiences, the clear winner would be Bara’s. I believe they can be more successful if they offered more daily deals like Leela’s, Charlie’s, & the other roti places that are busier.
