Analysis In Hair II

Really disappointed in the quality of service and cut I got from this salon.
So, I went in for a wash and cut, since i had recently taken my extensions out of my hair and wanted to just go natural. I’m mixed, so my hair is fairly curly and can get really frizzy. Since I hadn’t cut my hair in so long, I wasn’t so sure what the best option was, what I should do, and tried to get a consultation. When i showed her photos of what I was interested in she, bushed them off and continued to begin cutting… The look was OK, pretty much what you’d expect from your typical black hair salon that doesn’t care much about the look you want. Tbh I looked like an auntie lol.
Anyway, it wasn’t until later, when I met up with my boyfriend that we saw how bad it really was. NONE of my dead ends had been cut off, almost as if she only cut half? The look I had was nothing like what I had said I wanted, and when I looked properly in the mirror, I realized my cut was lopsided! Long on the left and short on the right! And to top it all off, I spent $ 80 on the bullshit cut and wash! Oh, and let’s not forget how much she tried to sell her product to me, when I had already said that I JUST bought Mizani products and didn’t need it!
The second I washed my hair it went crazy with long pieces here and short pieces there, so now I have to go to another salon to cut even more hair since she BUTCHERED the first chop.
I DO NOT recommend this salon to anyone, keep looking like me, and find something better.

Having lived in Toronto for 8 years now, it has been very challenging to find a salon that can look after my hair. Originally from the states were salons pride themselves on maintaining healthy hair for their clients.
After going to countless salons in Toronto Brampton and Sauga.
I found this salon to be focused on healthy hair first! They use great products on your hair to have your hair looking light and lustrous.
The staff are very professional friendly and truly care that your hair looks fabulous.
Twice I went here and their is never a time I waited more than 5 minutes before someone was attending to my hair.
The stylist Gloria actually assesses your hair gives pointers on how to maintain your hair.
Oh I forgot to add she cuts amazing and can style to your personal requests.
I would say the only downfall is the salon isn’t downtown! But I’m glad to see there is a salon in Mississauga that actually feels like American salon!
Ps: I never ever write reviews but this one was worth signing up for.

RUN RUN AWAY FROM THIS HAIR SALON! I have 4a natural hair. I called well in advance and asked what the price would be highlights and a small cut. I even asked what products they had to style hair with, just to make sure there where no surprises. I showed the stylist Eisha a picture of the color and hair cut I wanted. I specifically told her not to cut the sides too short as I did not want to have to deal with a crazy grow out phase. She got very scissor happy and I unfortunately wasn’t able to see what he was doing since most of the time I had my glasses off. With the color she lifted it to the point that I have blond roots! She supposedly toned it twice but I looked stupid!!! I have NEVER CRIED at a hair salon before. I cried like a baby here! All the years I have been getting my hair done I have never had my hair look the way it looks now. I literally had to go and buy a wig right after. Even my husband was mad that I paid. I had to argue with them not to charge me full price!!! The owner had to come in and look at it and then gave a «discount». I was so mad driving back home. I cried even more. What got to me even more was they actually all justified my cut! It looked hideous. My friend who saw me shortly after was livid that I even paid them a penny. If I could upload pictures I would just to warn the public. I have no clue how they are even in business.

Ive been going here for years and the owner does my hair. Granted shes the only one who has ever been able to do my hair properly and at a good cost, the speed of the service is kinda rediculous. I took my brother to get his hair done there a few weeks ago while i did mine and i was there for 4 hours for a service that should take no longer then 2. Every time i come here im waiting forever to get in and out and after the last time it makes me not want to go back. I say it every time but im nervous to let someone else do my hair. I need to find a new place though cause i can afford to sit in a salon for that long. The worst part to is when i called to book my appointment i told them that i had another appointment and i need to be out at a certain time. The girl asked me to come 30 mins early which i did and i still didnt make it out on time. I waited almost 30 mins to start my appointment. I now know that they take whoever calls and takes them and there is no system for the order in which the customers come. Its not professional at all do have a salon run like that. I feel like they are pretty frikin unorganized and some adjusting needs to be done. Im in the midst of finding a new place now…
