At Professional K9 our emphasis is to help dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages look and feel their very best. Our safe and loving home environment will not only put your dog at ease but you as well. We strive to keep your pet relaxed and stress free during the grooming process through the use of natural bathing products, aromatherapy and gentle handling techniques. History

Established in 2012.

Tracy’s love for all animals started young, but dogs always had a special place in her heart. When she got a Shih-​Tzu, she decided to groom him herself, to keep down costs of owning a dog. When she took Razi to the local dog park, she made friends with some of the other owners. After talking and listened to what they had to say, about their dogs’ groomer, she found that there was a group of owners that found it difficult to get their dog in on a regular schedule for grooming. These people were often retirees or low/​one income families. They could not pay the prices that experienced groomers would charge or found that the places were too far for them. Wanting all dogs to have the benefits of a good grooming, she set out to find a school to learn from a Master Groomer. Western Dog Grooming School (WDGS) in Hammond was that school. She acquired her CPPS1 designation through her membership in the Canadian Professional Pet Stylists (CPPS).

Business Owner

Tracy worked in bookkeeping and administration, then took a small business course. She was going to open her own organic, natural health food super store. Through that she learned a lot about organics, natural vitamins and homeopathic remedies.

Tracy’s love of animals brought her to becoming a dog groomer at the age of 40. She is more than that though. Tracy thought of getting into many different fields that work with animals from training to natural vet services, it is because of this that Stinky K9 Spa is more than just a grooming service. She has researched about many different types of ailments and types of healing techniques. She has either work with or researched and spoken with many types of healers about different common ailments and types of protocols to help or heal.
