Saucy

Good food. ½ price apps before 6 is the way to go. The atmosphere is a little dark for my taste but the food is worth going back for.

We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share for dinner. The mussels, wild mushroom and lettuce wraps all of which were DELICIOUS. Everything was full of flavors and presented in good portions to share. With the wild mushroom the sauce was so good you’d need more garlic bread to savor it and that’s exactly what they did for us. The service was excellent. We would definitely come back!

I’ve always loved the saucy in Streetsville and was excited to try the new one in Milton. The old post office right in the center of town is a great space but doesn’t seem to keep its tenants. I have a feeling Saucy will stay for a while, with its great service and well executed comfort food.
Started off with the escargot dish which was creamy with mushrooms and perfect with baguette slices. Thankfully the waitress brought us more to sop the delicious cream.
The lobster mac & cheese had some good points including a great quantity of lobster, however the pasta was quite dense, and the 3 yr old cheddar sauce was a bit diluted. This dish could use some refinement.
Thankfully the schnitzel club was very satisfying with the crisp breaded chicken between a brioche bun. Loved the avocado mayo.
The meal was rounded off nicely with a pint of wheat beer called Erdinger.

Disappointing. Pizza oven was not working. Picked the key lime salad instead. The salad was not fresh. There were bits of salad that was old and rotting in my plate. The chicken was not sasoned and dry.

We go to Saucy’s quite frequently. The food is always good. The asparagus on toast is to die for. I have never had anything I didn’t like. The staff is always friendly and extremely efficient. We will defiantly continue to come here.

We went their New Years eve and it was a set menu which always lowers one’s expectations. The presentation and quality of food was a nice surprise. The ravioli was outstanding. The waitress needed more training but overall did a good job. The Manager was very attentive. I like this place a lot and would recommend a visit.
