i have been to this place a few times and every time the experience has been just normal like any other fast food restaurant. last time i went i ordered a chicken sandwich and i was surprised that my order was ready just as i was paying with my card. and i was like whoa that was quick.
anyhow i take it with me and open up the paper wrap and took a big huge bite of that sandwich. it had dirty old lettuce and rotten tomato slice and the chicken breast was cold and hard to chew on.
this little girl gave me an old sandwich previously made (maybe since morning) that no customer took and they gave that to me.

I did a lot better not going here when I didn’t have one near me. I hate myself everytime I go to Popeye’s. I mean, I love their mashed potatoes and their beans n’ rice, and the sandwiches are so tasty. But, God, it’s got to be horrible for you. The chicken, which is always fresh from the fryer, glistens and shines.
Look, I don’t go here often. At least, I’m going to try not to. God knows, one time I grabbed a chicken sandwich at 10:30 on my way home, and I hated myself with a passion for it. I should have got one of their little snack things.
But it’s tasty food. Nice, nice food. But I’m too old for 10:30 chicken sandwiches right before bed.
