Wendy P.

Business Owner

WENDY PONKA, COM/​CVR/​ICDR/​ICDT/​CLR, CSU, ACT (Commissioner of Oaths, Certified Verbatim Reporter, Internationally Certified Digital Reporter, Internationally Certified Digital Transcriptionist, Certified Livenote Reporter, Certified Speechcat User, Authorized Court Transcriptionist) began her court reporting career in Kamloops, B.C. In 1975. She relocated to Ontario in 1990 to the Newmarket courthouse, and transferred to the the Milton courthouse in 1999.

Ponka Verbatim Reporting Services was established in 2007. Wendy has experience in all levels of court, arbitrations, inquests, Ontario Municipal Board hearings, disciplinary hearings, examinations, depositions, and many types of legal proceedings.

Wendy is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The International Institute For Transcribers And Court Reporters. She regularly accepts invitations to speak at venues and conducts workshops for professional court reporters and legal transcribers throughout Canada and the United States.
