Just moved to Milton and thought I’d try out a local pub. Came here to find that the customer service of the staff is horrible. Waited 12 minutes to be seated. Then had to wait another 11 minutes for them to come and take our food order. We ordered the usual pub food, burger and fries and some wings. Burger was burnt, fries were under cooked, the wings were pretty good tho. Then we asked for the bill and this time it took them 15 minutes to bring out bill. I then asked the server why all the delays, and her reply was«I’ll get to you when I get to you». What a b****. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Service is just BAD!

Wish I could tell you about the food, but we waited so long trying to get some table service for a drink we walked out. I do not think I’ve ever been anywhere with such miserable staff. This place could be a gold mine but never will be with the people working there!

TERRIBLE! Service was aweful… took 40 mins to get our food after we ordered… then it came and one was the wrong meal! We ordered a second drink it never arrived. Then when the bill came no compensation for giving us the wrong sandwich. Our waiter was quick to jump and serve the table of pretty young girls beside us but messed our dinner up and had no regard or care for us. Ruined out night out!

Arrived late Sat afternoon Apr. 12th. Very interesting layout & décor. Young woman who served us was personable and accommodating. Many innovative and creative menu items. My companion had wings and I had a burger. They were both over cooked considerably. I suspect made in advance & kept warm. Overall a disappointment.

Came here for some late night snacks of appetizers, chicken wings and beer with some buddies. There was a 10 cent per wing special and half priced appetizers. Not a bad deal. Wings were breaded and quite generous sized. Beer was standard OK. There was a Leaf game going on on the large screen TVs so it was a full house.

First off the filtered reviews look real as some are good some not so. Which is about right. The food is pretty good, place is small and gets overcrowded and overloaded which means you stand a good chance of waiting. Went for lunch during a summer weekday and were lucky that we got there before the rush only had to wait a few minutes for a waiter(he just came to work!) and food was out in 15 minutes. I had a cobb salad which was on a small plate so the topping spilled off it easily and there was not much lettuce but it was good if a little on the expensive side at $ 12. co– diner Son ordered ½ price wings(2 orders of course) and they were huge wings and very tasty but the sauce was 0.60 extra for a very small container(waiter said since ½ price they charge for sauce) I did not quibble but 2 orders might be worth some sauce! My soft drink was free refill since I had full price meal but again not so if a lunch special is ordered. I would have liked to try an adult beverage but maybe when there is a special in the evening. They have a regular everyday promotion posted online and some daily ones on the board.

A tip of the hat to the Ivy Arms and their wings. I had some errands to run in Milton and decided to grab some wings here with a friend. Strongbow and Guinness on tap. Score. She ordered her wings in Guinness BBQ, I ordered mine in Homicide(as opposed to the«suicide» wings at other bars. I guess they’re so hot, they make you want to murder people?). The wings were very good. They come breaded or unbreaded in a variety of flavours. I was impressed with the homicide wings. They destroyed me. They were so hot, I had to take a break. They were so hot, I started to sweat. Honestly, I think Inner Circle was singing about serving up these wings, not making sweet sweet love to a lady.(Wait, did this pub exist in the 90s?) Toward the end, I was in physical pain. Tears were coming out of my eyes due to the very very liberal dose of scotch bonnet peppers. But I was happy. The ambiance was relaxed, they have a huge patio in the front, wheelchair accessible bathroom on the main floor, a party room in the basement and parking in the back, if you don’t parallel park. Friday night is karaōke night. My friend lives in Kitchener and Milton is an easy spot in the middle for us to meet. I can see us returning, particularly for the amazing patio.

The Ivy Arms has a decent sized sunny patio(probably seats 60 people total) surrounded by walls of Ivy. It’s quite attractive with all the green leaves and a pretty busy place to be summer afternoons. In the evenings they sometimes have live music which is excessively loud(literally can’t hear the person next to you) but when there isn’t music it’s a great place to grab a pint or have a bite to eat. They have Karaōke on Sunday nights which is super random and they get a good following for sports too. Their lunch menu is great. There are probably 20 options all for just $ 6.95 including wraps, sandwiches, lasagna, chili, burgers, etc. I went with the bbq chicken wrap and salad which was filling, tasty and predictable. My friends ordered the burgers and had equally content comments about their meals. There’s lots of parking around back. This place is definitely worth a visit on a sunny day in the summer, especially on Sundays for their Caesar specials.

Hey this place is a good pub to go and hang out with a few buddies. the biggest problem in this place is way to small! avoid at all costs if you don’t have a reservation and there’s a game on. Some of the night life stuff is awesome too, live bands karaōke.
