Definitely my favorite spot for sushi in milton. Nice place, very clean, food is made with care and prepared well. Staff are friendly. Price is reasonable. I Ike everything about this place. Although I have been here about 3 times and it has been really empty each time yet I can’t seem to think why everything is great

It has gone way downhill. Seats are ripped, wait staff is now rude and lazy and the environment is not clean. When they first opened, I would have given 4 Stars… I won’t got back now.

We have come here quite often in the past as it was the only AYCE in Milton. But it’s not gotten better with age. The staff seem less and less attentive each time. I have yet to eat here and have every item we order appear. This time the four of us had to reorder 5 items, and even then only 3 showed up. The entire time we ate another poor man waited over 30 minutes for a small takeout order! I don’t plan on coming back. There are lots of other places. .. And I’d rather drive for decent service.

This place was decent the first couple of times i went here after that it was all downhill. Their booths have seats with duct tape on them. The sushi might be all you can eat but i don’t think you would want to eat a lot of it here. The food itself was boring. The sushi pizzas are their saving grace.

Our dragon boat team of approximately 20 people came here on a Sat night after a day of races in Woodstock. We normally go to Yang’s in Mississauga but wanted to try this restaurant due to to its proximity to the highway. We most likely won’t be coming back to this location. All in all, it was disappointing in comparison to what we experienced at Yang’s. Service was pretty bad given that the restaurant was not that busy. Some of the orders took over an hour before they finally arrived at the table. The explanation provided by the waitress was not the fish was not cut and the sushi chefs did not have time to cut up the sashimi. At Yang’s, no matter how much food we ordered, they never forgot our orders and came out 5 – 10 minutes later(even if we ordered 40+ pieces of sashimi). I’d hate to say it but maybe location is a factor. Back to Yang’s it is.

My first impression as I stepped inside: Where is everybody? Well, maybe it was Canada Day but man were there so little customers. If it wasn’t that busy then why were the floors so dirty? Salmon sashimi and all the maki rolls we ordered were delicious. The rolls and sashimi were nicely presented and didn’t fall apart. However, the miso soup wasn’t good. The paste wasn’t blended well enough because the chunks were larger than usual. Some of the food items that we ordered never got to our table… so I’m assuming they forgot. I’ve noticed that many sushi buffets always miss a few food items. Overall, it was a decent dining experience minus the dirty floor and the forgotten food items. However, I thought it was pretty expensive because it was about $ 25/person. I prefer Sushi 168’s Mississauga location.

It’s an alright place to go for lunch. I went in yesterday with five of my co-workers just as they opened. Only a few other tables came in through our entire visit. Considering that, service was pretty slow. The food was okay. Not an amazing variety or presentation but okay for sure. Now that I have been to a number of AYCE sushi spots, I can’t say I’m impressed with this one but it isn’t bad. Would I go back? With a group that wants to go, yes. On my own accord, no.

Here is probably the best way to describe 168 Sushi Japan Buffet Service: 2⁄5 — The service is fast, but they forget your order. Actually we never got what we ordered and its seems they forget quite often. Quality of Food: 3⁄5 — Food is pretty tasty, but as expected when you go to «All-You-Can-Eat Buffets» the sushi’s are filled with rice rather then the good stuff. Also, remember the portions are extremely small! So order lots of what you like! Temperature of Food: 3⁄5 — Quick service but food was cold Value of Meals: 3⁄5 — Prices were very reasonable for an All-You-Can-Eat restaurant. Atmosphere: Very clean and is well maintained. Would I Return: No Time of Meal: Late afternoon meal

Sushi was pretty good, however buffet is little deceiving. You have to order food at the table, however you cannot order more because if you order and you do not finish then they will charge you for the dish. Waiters kept on reminding you of that to a point where it was little offending. Other then that food quality was pretty good.

My favourite Japanese restaurant in Milton. The food is always tastey, comes out fast, and there is a large selection to choose from. Most importantly their sashimi is very fresh. The staff is very friendly and efficient, giving it that little extra to complete the package for an overall nice eating experience. This place is definitely worth trying out.

The word buffet in the front is a little deceiving. I guess I was expecting the obligatory table length full of food. But, I sat there and was given a menu to order from. It actually took some time form my food to be delivered and the server was very apologetic. But, when the food started coming, it came fast. And, it was good. I guess, that’s what it comes down to, how good was the sushi. I must say, it was good. It wasn’t an incredible, but good. One of the biggest advantage of this restaurant is the location. The movie theater is right next door. So, if your out to catch a flick and want some good sushi, this is the restaurant. Enjoy

My family and I come here often for the AYCE Lunch and I would recommend this place if you like sushi and you’re in Milton. The restaurant is quite big, but well maintained, and the washrooms are clean. The service is good. We don’t have to wait ridiculous times for food and the servers are friendly(with the occasional reminder for some more wasabi or water re-fills…which can be expected.) The quality of the raw fish is also very good. Neither myself or any of my family members have gotten sick after eating here. The rolls are excellent and everything tastes fresh. Deep fried items(my particular favourite) are always served piping hot and crispy. You MUST try their Banana Tempura(dessert). Oh my god, this thing is amazing… I would pay to go and eat nothing but them. I’m not sure if this is done anywhere else… but it’s definitely worth visiting solely for the Banana Tempura.

All You Can Enjoy Sushi. I had been aching for some AYCEat Sushi in Toronto. I began the night wanting to go to a AYCEat Sushi spot near U of T, but parking was horrendous, it was raining, and I didn’t want to deal w/it… so I had a change of plan and found myself back in Milton past 10:30pm and still wanting sushi. Japan Buffet to the rescue. Thank goodness it’s open till 11:30 on Fridays! As you could imagine, there weren’t many people at the restaurant this late. Even so, my waitress did not skimp out on the level of service. Maybe she subconsciously wanted to rush me through my dinner, but I didn’t mind. She was polite. I was hungry. I got my food. She got her tip. Hahaha… So now… onto the food! Note: I am observing Lent, and since I came here on a Friday, I did not have any of the meat items. I ordered: Miso Soup Shrimp Tempura Grilled Zucchini Pink Lady Roll — Spicy crab meat topped with smoked salmon(4pcs) Rock Roll — Crab, tempura shrimp, cream cheese cucumber(4pcs) Fruit Roll — Peach, Banana, Mango + mango sauce on top(4pcs) Salmon, White Tuna, Red Snapper Sashimi(1 of ea) Green Tea Ice Cream I’d say that I ate all i could enjoy. lol. I liked the pink lady roll a lot, and probably could’ve done without the fruit roll. I usually like rice & mango desserts, but the seaweed or the sushi rice seemed to clash with the sweet fruits. The sashimi was cut thick, but in small pieces. Definitely left me wanting more. The rolls were also on the smaller side. Again… leaving me wanting more… …but that’s why this is a buffet/AYCE restaurant. Next time, I’ll try to arrive at least an hour before closing so I can enjoy more items without guilt.
