The lady (I think her name was Farah or Zarah) gave my pomeranian the worst cut ever. After I specifically gave her instructions not to touch the fur on his ears, she shaves his ears! Saying that shaved ears is the typical look for Pomeranians which is total BS. Not to mention overpriced. Ugh never coming here again.

This place is fantastic! After searching for a place to get our little Yorkie groomed, and passing by Tail and Paws regularly, we decided to give it a shot! The store was very clean and well-organized. Lots of healthy treats for your pets. They did an amazing job grooming my little guy! We are very picky about the places we bring our dog to get groomed (yes, he is very spoiled), and we will definitely be returning to Tail & Paws to get our dog groomed regularly. I highly, highly, recommend this store for both grooming and healthy treats for your pet.

Tail & Paws feels like a Holt Renfrew of the pet stores!
Right from the presentation, the set up of the store (lighting and shelving) and the food/treats/toys they carries, you know this place only carry the better products for your flurry friends.
There are also a cabinet displaying baked cookies and treats.
Oh and they also has frozen treats, soberts/ice cream? for your doggies for that hot summer days at a freezer near the front of the store.
Pet grooming is also available.
While I was there, there was a little doggie growling at me behind the cookie cabinet. I guess he is trying to protect his treats!

Tail and Paws carries many of the high-end brands of food for your dog or cat. It’s basically a Health Food store for your pets. They are knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with.
The store itself is gorgeous, very classy and upscale. Your dog is welcome to come visit with you, and may even wiggle away happily after being offered a healthy snack. They have filled exactly what was needed in this part of Thornhill.
As the Founder and Director of Holiday Pet Care, I recommend them often to my clients, and have my staff do so as well, as I know that our clientele is always looking for the very best for their pets.
