I felt like this is a well deserved review that I forgot to write. this experience was from a while back, but it’s stopped me from going into this subway ever again, so I think it deserves a review. This subway is super close to my part time job, and I decided to come here to get a sandwich for work that night. When I walked in, it was one guy working and another worker that was possibly on break, lounging around the tables. I was immediately uncomfortable as both of their sets of eyes shifted on me and looked me up and down. Awkward? Feeling too awkward to 180 and walk out, I made my way to the counter and the worker that was on break mumbled something to me about how he liked the way I looked. or something of the sort. As I cautiously said thank you(mind you, I was raised with manners), he took it as an invitation to joke around with me about something and even brought the other worker into it… ok? I came for a sandwich, not this shenanigans. As soon as I paid, I whisked it outta there asap. Like. bye. The other times I’ve been, it’s mostly an older lady with a thick accent working; she’s pretty bipolar. sometimes she will be super friendly and other days she gets impatient quickly, especially when you can’t understand her accent. Hey. the glass is thick! And you’re also mumbling?! Excuse me if I ask you to repeat what you said. This subway doesn’t get only a single star, just because my food has never been messed up nor have I witnessed some nasty shit in the food containers. So, good job for that. But still, I don’t like visiting this subway.
