Great place to sit and sip your coffee while internet surfing. Check your in-box, like some instie posts, Unilocal a little, do a goodreads review, pin a couple of recipes, eat a cake pop, shop for shoes, make a couple of tweets, book a moksha yoga class. Time well wasted.

I’m a fan of this Starbucks. It’s located inside a Chapters at Highway 7 and Warden(the FMP plaza) — books, movies, and food are easily accessible. There’s usually a number of people sitting down and working on laptops, so space might not be easily found. It is, however, a pretty good place to work — I could easily sit here for hours. Oh, and on my most recent visit they didn’t have dedicated wifi of their own, so prepare to use Chapters’.

one of my fav starbucks, sometimes very very packed but i love it for the big sunny table that’s great for studying. fun to people watch when taking a study break, the chapters beside it also provides lots of distractions. close to movie theater, restaurants and shops. I do not like the construction that’s going on highway 7 right now… it seems to drag on for a while now. :(

We came in when they were about to close. In fact, Chapters was already closed and there were several bunches of teenagers doing something on a laptop or just hanging out with friends. Every decent store needs its regulars, and this one has them. I haven’t tested their WiFi so can’t speak of it’s quality. If there are plugs, there aren’t many. My dark roast was great. My wife’s soy latte was good too. The store is small but there were several tables that were vacant. I’m sure that wouldn’t be the case if the book store was still open. There is ample parking outside.

Christ on a pogo stick. The men’s washroom here was a disaster. I hit this place about 2:30 pm. There was water(I hope it was water) everywhere. There was toilet paper and tissue all over the floor. The room stank like urine. Is this a UK phone booth after the pubs let out? I checked the tick sheet on the door to see when was the last time someone had passed a dirty rag around the can and it was 10 am. No one poked their head in for 4 and a half hours. If you don’t have to go, there’s a small two seat patio that gives you a great view of the glide path of the airport. You can see a host of small planes in their final approach while you sup a cup. But like I say don’t expect a clean head.

I am still looking for a Starbucks inside a Chapters that at least makes me feel at home… The seating here are for sure awkward. all these table for 2 kind of facing the magazine aisle of Chapters. Why would one want to drink coffee and look at the racks of racks of magazine and not like you reading them? No outlets for laptop aside in the area of the armchairs… so basically you are fighting for prime seating! People that want to sit in the comfy chairs and people want to have access with the electric outlets! The coffee and the rice crisp treats were both A-OK though… If you want to come here this Starbucks to study or work on your assignments, I definitely suggest you go to another location!

A Chapters trip means it’s also time for Starbucks! YES! My plan was to pick up the Eclipse novel, grab a grande toffeenut soy americano misto, then plant myself on a comfy seat and start reading my new purchase while sipping on my Starbucks drink. How quickly plans change. Every seat was taken, and as I looked around, it dawned on me… this Starbucks is not a pretty Starbucks. First of all, the floor to table ratio was all wrong. There was not enough floor space to accommodate all the two seater wooden tables. Secondly, why are there only two seater tables? What happened to options? Maybe add a four seater table here and there? Oh wait! There was some of those one seater comfy couches. But no! They were all occupied plus squished over by the window. This Starbucks was unpleasant. Looked uncomfortable. And was uninviting. But it was also popular. Huh? Looks like I wasn’t the only one NOT working on a weekday mid-afternoon. As you read this review, you probably only sense my disappointment… but you know what? I wasn’t disappointed… because my toffeenut soy americano misto was still made perfectly!
