NYX Ecigs

NYX will always have a special place in my heart, just as does Maple Leaf Vapes.
NYX was my go to vape place when I had first started my vaping journey, and I don’t regret it.
I happened to visit NYX earlier today and they sure have changed since the last time I came (nearly 2 years ago). When I say change, I mean their product selection and the interior.
They sell a good variety of vape devices, but what I’ve always known NYX for was their in house ejuices. I’ll always be a fan of their many ejuices and usually suggest NYX to beginner vapers who are trying to find their ‘Flavour’ preference. Everything here is reasonably priced and felt nostalgic once again when a staff member had mentioned the ‘Buy 5 Ejuices, get the 6^th For Free.‘
Clean interior, with a section to try not only NYX’s brand of ejuices, but a small selection of other name brand juices they carry. Also with many beginner kits available for purchase and staff more than willing to help you start your vaping journey.
I do really recommend checking out NYX Ecigs if you are in the area! It’s nestled away in a bussiness office looking building.

Over the years I’ve written many reviews on Unilocal but admittedly it has been a while since I wrote one. However I wanted to give some public kudos to the guys at NYX (in Markham). I’ve been vaping for a about a year and a half now and let me tell you, I’ve had my ups and downs. Most smokers will tell you that vaping, as an aid to quit smoking, is difficult. Most smokers I talk to are on and off vaping for various reasons. Mine were lack of great e-​liquids and the ridiculous pricing of hardware out there. Granted today pricing is a lot lower than 1.5−2 years ago, finding great e-​liquids is still challenging as most purchases are hit and miss (even with reviews).
Over the years I’ve purchased other hardware from China and have been very disappointed in the quality (not to mention shipping costs and delays). I’ve bought a few different electronic cigarettes from NYX as well and have been happy with each of them. Currently I’m using the iTaste VV with a nautilus mini (with BVC coils). It’s a great combo of form and function and IMHO one of the best mainstream e-​cigs available today.
Going back to e-​liquid, NYX took a little while to really build their arsenal of e-​liquids, but I would say that now, they have a lot of great tasting, smooth e-​liquids. I was happy to see they have high VG juice which makes my vaping experience smoother and more flavourful. The hidden gems from NYX I’d recommend everyone try are: Red Tobacco, Blue Lagoon, Alpha Berry and Lemon Cream Puffs. Everyone’s taste buds are different so I can’t guarantee you’ll love these flavours BUT I can tell you that most people I know that buy juice/​e-​liquid from NYX love them as the quality of their juice at NYX really stands out.
If you’ve read any of my past reviews, you’ll know I’m a stickler for service. If a business has bad service, I don’t give a damn what else they have or what else they can do. Bad service is a deal breaker for me, and this is another reason why I find myself popping into NYX every now and then to pickup more e-​liquids (and sometimes more hardware like tanks and batteries). The guys at NYX are knowledgeable, patient and always helpful. They’re always willing to stop what they’re doing and spend a little time with me explaining the differences between various products. I’m a very detail oriented guy so sometimes this gets annoying for floor/​sales reps but the NYX staff is great, no complaints here.
My review concludes, NYX has great products, excellent service, and most importantly (for me) amazing e-​liquids! I’ve got some liquids on the way so I am über excited and can’t wait to get my hands on them!

I dont considerbthis place a «high» end vape shop but i spent more money here than any other vape shop not including juices.
The gentlemen helping me definately helped me out a lot. They had tons of stuff that other vape shops didnt have. I bought a velocity mini clone, kangertech nano purle edition (for my gf) clapton wires by ud, a glass drip tip. I was very very very happy with my purchases that day.
I liked there juice bar there they have there own line of juices but didnt get any juices because I already have enough.
Great shop i loved it.

2) RE-​USING OLD EQUIPMENT AND PONDING OFF AS NEW (caught this guy lying to me twice during my visit)
3) EXCUSES, EXCUSES, EXCUSES — NOT WILLING TO ADMIT TO SELLING DEFECTIVE PRODUCT
Bought a black Kangertech here and 3 days later it started to leak, by the next morning the outside of the tank looked like someone had brushed it with juice. I went back with confidence that they would help me, but all I got was excuses after excuses and poor customer service. The guy said, «these coils should last between 3 — 4 weeks, so it’s probably the coil and not the tank, I’ll switch up the coil and if it happens again come back and I will switch up a brand new tank».
Load and be hold it happens again 3 days later, just like the first time. This time I go back, hoping they will at least switch up the tank. The same guy helped me and he was nice to admit that the «Kangertech is known to leak» and he will switch up for the «Aspire tank which is solid and will not leak».
Perfect! Problem solved right? NOPE! Now the unit is mismatched. I have a black battery pack with a silver tank. I explain to him and he agrees that it looks awkward mismatched, but he can’t make a decision on swapping the battery unit to match the tank. So he picks up his phone (to call the owner — I’m guessing) leaves the floor and comes back, But this time his whole demeanor changed. NOW he can’t give me the Aspire (doesnt leak) but he will swap for another black kangertech tank (which he already admits that is known to leak) — what does that solve? Nothing. I explain that I’m am willing to pay the difference for a matching silver battery. BUT he ignores me and begins to take the Aspire off. He reaches into the glass counter to pull out an obviously used demo unit and tries to tell me that it is brand new. I look at it and clearly there are residue of juice in the tank. Then he reaches for another tank that is sitting next to the cash register, out in the open, and try to give me that one and say that this is brand new. YOU’RE KIDDING ME RIGHT!!! what an amateur!
In the end I didn’t even end up with a brand new tank, he just took one that was ALREADY opened for display purposes. At this point I’ve already lost my patients and just want to get out of there. I said, «you’re basically showing me the door and asking me to not come back for repeat business» and he just smiled. WOW, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
THERE IS NO DOUBT IN MY MIND THAT THEY SELL/​SWAP USED EQUIPMENT.
Don’t trust this store, if you are already in the area, go somewhere else, there are lots of vape stores in Markham.

Dear NYX,
No one is perfect and no company is perfect, but what makes a company stand out is how they treat their customers and how they solve the problem. Not solve the problem by ignoring their concerns and not taking ownership. If you are willing at admit, take responsibility, WORK with the customer and make them happy, you will have repeat business especially from a customers that once had issues with your product. There are many times where I caught you worker lying to me and being dishonest. As customers, we need to be able to trust the vendor otherwise it’s game over…

I used to come here a lot before I quit vaping. This was my go to for juice since they had the best prices out there. It wasn’t until I used their products for about a month or so, the juice turns stale after 2 weeks and all my equipment started to break within a day. I came back to exchange my product for a brand new one. The owner refused and said he couldn’t do it. He said he’d have to send it back to the factory for testing then wait for them to send it back to the store for me to pick up. I bought a battery here which was also defective. I had compared the battery with my friends since he had the same one, his battery performed much better, so I tried to exchange it but the owner tried to use excuses such as «it’s just like that.» or «let it charge and use it for a few days or so.» The battery packaging definitely did not look new at all and the product had marks as if it was used. I mentioned this to the owner as well but he just tried to clean it off with his shirt, handed it back to me and said «it’s just from manufacturing.» Shortly after this I just decided to stop vaping completely.

Purchased my ecig here and the guy helping was well informed of his products. He guided me to making all the right decisions. The price was right as far as I could remember from what I read online.
My only problem here was partially my own fault, I didn’t know what flavour to pick, and I didn’t know there was a test area, but wasn’t advised of that either. I did enjoy the flavour I picked, but it was sweet, and got bored with it quickly. Since he recommended the lowest nic level, which I don’t blame him for either, I think it was a good call, I found myself going out frequently to vape. Next time I’ll know I can try before I buy, and know need a little more nic to satisfy my cravings.

Nice to find someplace close, don’t have to order online from US website and wait for weeks to get it.
This place have a great service and the stuff really know they products and helpful.

After receiving recommendations from friends i have finally decided to check out a vape shop. As soon as i walked in i was pretty blown away, it was very nice, filled with many different juices behind the counter and i had absolutely no clue what i was looking for. I was welcomed right away when i walked in and the gentlemen guided me through all the devices and answered all my questions. He then showed me all the juices and even let me try all the flavours they carry, its really awesome how all the flavours and descriptions are on the tvs above the juice station! I then decided to go for the texan tobacco and the juicy peach with the starter kit. It was really inexpensive only came up to about 100 bucks with juices and coils. He then showed me step by step how to use and fill my vape and made sure i didn’t have any uncertainty of how to use it. I will definitely be coming back for more juices after i finish these 2 bottles haha, i am amazed at how i havnet had a cigarette in 3 days already, i used to smoke a pack a day! Thank you nyx for the amazing service and prices!

One of the best vape shops.
It was a bit hard to find, but it’s in the plaza right off woodbine and 14^th.
We went in to find some good juices, and the prices are insane — $ 15 for 30ml juices. Whaaat?! The juice is strong and DEFINITELY juicy. It also doesn’t leave that burnt taste at the back of your throat like a lot of cheaper juices do.
They have a whole bar where you can try — no pressure from the sales representatives. You can try as many as your heart desires. or until you get lightheaded.
Their flavours are some of the smoothest and best I’ve had.
They also have a deal right now (or maybe always) buy 5 juices, get 1 free.
Their prices are extremely reasonable, not only for juices, but for the vape setups and mods as well. I’ve asked around many shops and another shop sold the exact same thing for $ 150ish, while nyx’s setups went for $ 95 – 100.
I may come here for a new vape soon…
The guy that helped us is super helpful and friendly, which is important extremely in these kind of shops. He even offered us a membership program — points for everything bought.
These reviews made me a bit skeptical at first — how can a shop receive such positive reviews?! I definitely thought there was some scam thing here. but no, apparently they didn’t even know about their Unilocal.Keep up the good work, guys!

NYX was where I started my vaping experience. A fellow employee named Kevin helped me out since I knew nothing about e ciggs. I bought a vv with a nautilus tank. After being at nyx I tried other vape stores and nothing could compare to the low prices at nyx and their quality of their juices. If you’re looking to start vaping or even a good place with high quality/​good prices/​amazing customer service. This will be your go to place.

I have been going to nyx for the last year or so for liquid and hardware upgrades and I have been very impressed with their service and competitive pricing. Just to be clear I am doing this review based on my own experience and will — no one has asked me to do this review.
Normally I go in and purchase fruit vapes like blue lagoon or their popular skittlez, I have recently acquired the taste for gourmet eliquid and I am really enjoying milk and honey and lemon cream puffs. When I walked into the store today I was very pleased to see an increase in juice selection — I have been telling Kevin who works at the store to try to bring in more juice which he has finally. I have noticed that they have taken my suggestions seriously — in the past I asked them to carry the copper cartel and a week after I told Kevin I got a call saying it was in stock. I appreciate the fact they take feedback seriously and I have seen a really big improvement in selection over the 1 year I have been going to nyx.
In short it’s a great place to get your liquid and hardware without over paying.
