Derek Moreland has been in the plumbing business for over thirty years. He served his apprenticeship in Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1980. While working during the day for various plumbing companies, he attended night school at George Brown College, graduating with his Master Plumber Licence in 1982. In 1995, he merged his own company Drainbusters into the Mr. Rooter Plumbing franchise.

A leader in the industry, Derek Moreland is considered to be an expert on just about anything to do with plumbing. He hires the best, most efficient licensed plumbing technicians in the business and seeks out the latest advances and industry technology to make sure that his team is always up to date.
