This is one of the 4 City of Markham Recycling Depot.
Located just at the parking lot of Markham Community Centre and has the best opening hours out of other locations: Opening 6 days a week! I also like how their hours with alternatively Early Morning (8:00 am) opening and Late Evening (8:00 pm) closing.
Here you can drop off Styrofoam, Tires, Fluorescent Lights/​Tubes and other recyclable items that cannot be recycled curbside using the Blue Box.
You can also pick up extra Green/​Blue Box here or exchange damaged Green/​Blue Box here without charges as long as the box has Markham logo on it.
Staff here always really helpful in sorting out the stuff I dropping off and of course I was just so happy to get a brand new green and blue bin!
