Hartman

I was more than impressed with my recent visit to Hartman menswear when visiting the shops of Markham Main Street. Echoing the sentiments of Allison Y, Hartman is a high end shop that focuses on personal attention and high fashion for men.
To put it in perspective you could essentially put them on par with the likes of Harry Rosen in terms of quality, named brands and price. Be advised, if you’re not making a hearty salary this might not be the best place for you to shop. that being said, if you can afford to shop at higher end stores, Hartman is your best option in York Region (and that’s saying something).
It’s great to see specialty clothing proprietors like this doing well in the GTA, as soon as I start making some serious bucks I’m going to pay them a visit and get some nice «investment pieces» for my wardrobe!

Hartman is a clothier that specializes in high end men clothing. I visited with some Unilocalers during a CMYE local shopping crawl. The owner and salesmen were well dressed, with deposition comparable to downtown businessmen. This is what I call mimicking your customers. The interior is tastefully decorated, filled with lots of clothes that are of high quality material, good workmanship, and high prices. For example, a wool sweater costs approximately $ 300, and an outer jacket costs $ 600. The clothes are mostly of classic designs. I don’t see many things that gear towards the under 30 crowd. I won’t say the clothes are not worth the prices, because they look more like investment pieces that a man will wear for good 5 years, if he can afford them.
I probably will bring my BF in during Boxing Week; I think one of the outer jackets will look great on him.
