Their pineapple buns and sausage buns are usually on special for $ 0.6 each, usually with a lot of each in stock. There was only 1 egg tart when we went, which was very disappointing and there were very few other bun varieties. Their fruitcakes are somewhere around $ 10 each, although to be honest, they look kind of «old» like they’ve been sitting there for a while. There’s no tax if you buy 6 or more buns.
A good place though, if you like pineapple and sausage buns.

couldn’t see anything I reaaaally liked. there wasn’t an overwhelming selection, but I bought those big cupcakes for a dollar and they were pretty good quality.
egg tarts are a lot better in the bakery in the mall across the street.

I think this is the first time we visited this bakery on our trip to Toronto. The cakes are bargain compared to the shopping center $ 8 here they are $ 2 more elsewhere so lovely. And they gave us a fresh bread to try the moment we sat down. We brought a lot home maybe 3 boxes. It’s guaranteed hot and fresh custom made orders when you buy here.

This is one of my favorite Chinese bakeries in Markham. I do believe this is the first original location for this store. They now have a few locations inside a few No Frills in the area. The great thing about this place is that their buns still taste good a day or two old. That is the true test of a good bakery.
There are many chinese buns place who make good buns when they are fresh from the oven. But the next day, they taste like crap. I like a good balance of quality and price, and I think Gloucester has that balance pretty down pack! In the Peachtree Plaza location, they don’t really have any sort of discounts on the buns. Only no tax if you buy 6 or more (which is pretty standard in all chinese bakeries — or bakeries in general). If you go to one of the other locations in No Frills location, they do have discounts. They have $ 0.50 special buns — they price around 4 buns for that cheap. It’s a pretty good deal, though it can get busy!
This place also makes good cakes. my mom is in love with their cakes, for any family celebration, she always buys our cakes here!
