Business Owner

Dr. Seah received an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at the University of Toronto. He then obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2005 at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. To further his clinical training, he also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at the University of Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. Being committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Seah regularly pursues continuing education through dental conferences and courses to enhance his knowledge and keep up-​to-​date with advances in dentistry. Dr. Seah is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the York Region Dental Society and the Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club.

ForestBrook Dental has a great location/​office, provides great customer service, and makes the patient feel extremely comfortable during the whole visit.
When I called initially to inquire about registering as a new patient, Chau was very nice and understanding on the phone, answering any questions I may have, and following up with me to ensure that all my insurance documents and forms will be set before my appointment. There is a New Patient Form on their website that you just have to complete before the appointment to save time.
When I arrived at their office for my appointment, I immediately noticed the cleanliness and neatness of the place. There’s Nintendo Wii and Xbox stations for kids, large TV, lots of seating at the waiting room, good lighting, really great set-​up over-​all, a very welcoming atmosphere.
Just about 3 minutes after I arrive for my 10AM appointment, I was then greeted by Daisy, a dental hygienist. She asked me first of all if I have any immediate concerns with my dental health, and the main reason for my visit. I told her I do want to register, and that I have not gone to the dentist in at least 8 years. yikes!
During the comprehensive exam, before Daisy proceeded with each test, she would explain to me the process first, and what needs to be done. After showing me the results of my photos and x-​rays, she gave me advice on how to maintain good dental health, and also what procedures I had to go through to fix some very few issues with my teeth.
Oh, and here’s the best part. There are 2 TVs in the room! One on the wall for when you’re sitting up, and one on the ceiling right in front of you for when you’re laying down, so you can watch TV and distract yourself during cleaning or any procedure they are doing. The whole time I was holding the remote control… nice. well, in my opinion that distracted me and made me feel a little less crazy and distracted from all the drilling I can hear.
Dr. Daniel dropped by for a few minutes, introduced himself, again made me feel comfortable and ran some quick checks as well. He has a very soothing voice and a very friendly smile, again making me feel calm.
After the appointment, I was given a bag of goodies. YAY!
I have another appointment coming up in a week, and I am sure it will be as great as this one! I highly recommend ForestBrook Dental. I already convinced my husband to sign-​up as well. They do take care of all the paperwork regarding insurance, and as a patient, I feel very well-​informed about what needs to be done next in my dental care plan.
