The service was excellent! One of the people working there gave me a discount because I forgot my points card. Also the products were amazing and the quality was better than other products you buy elsewhere. I highly recommend the prismacolours since the waxy center allows it to blend colours really nicely. It is kind of pricy but well worth it.

Convenient location, and it’s clearly stated that this store won’t carry everything you see online as it is just a limited supply store. I like that they let you know ahead of time and they’re always happy to encourage their customers to call in ahead of time to know if they have something in stock. Staff are super helpful and give great advice too. The only issue I have with this store is that it is always so messy.

Such a lovely place with really helpful staff. It’s not obvious which items are for sale, so it’s definitely worth asking. I was looking for stocking stuffers for toddlers and found 6-packs of finger paints for just over $ 2. It was a bit of a drive but it was worth it.

The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They are often able to help me find things here. I’ve been coming to this store since 1994! I like to get their extra large newsprint. Most of the time it’s in stock around when school starts. I used to get their winston watercolour here. They were excellent for school. Many sizes for acrylic paints. Many sizes to choose from for canvas(including frames). Nowadays, I usually shop for tombow markers, a waterbased marker. The colours are stunning. As well as prisma colour pencils. So much colours & the lead is soft & perfect for blending. The price ain’t bad either. If you are a student and have ID. There are extra savings.

There aren’t a lot of options in this part of the GTA for art supplies and, luckily, this store is more than adequate if a bit pricey. It has pretty much anything you could need for painting(brushes, oil, watercolour, acrylic), drawing(pencils, pencil crayons, pastels, selections of paper), drafting(markers, pens, rulers), etc. It’s a little light on sculpture stuff, but that’s pretty normal. The staff is friendly and helpful. As mentioned things can be a bit pricey though, so try to buy during a sale or use an ID for a discount. Also, this place shares parking with Pacific Mall, so only come if you can survive the crazy drivers/packed lot.

Went there not expecting much and looking for a few art items. The three at the counter were more than happy to help me find exactly what I was looking for and helped me immeasurably. Also took the time to explains what the labels on the pencils meant so I would know in the future. Great friendly service puts this store at the top.

I used to go to this location for my art supplies when I was in high school. I went to school in Scarborough and this was the closest art supply store for me. For someone who tackles art as a hobby, I loved exploring every aisle of this store. In a general sense, they have a huge selection of supplies ranging from crafts for kids to photography supplies. 90% of my paints(acrylic, oil, watercolours), canvases, and painting tools/accessories are from Curry’s. I personally enjoy the quality of the mediocre-priced items; obviously they are not as extravagant compared to the high-end stuff, but for a student I felt that it did the job. Let’s be real; Curry’s is not necessarily student-friendly with their prices for licensed brands. However, they sometimes have outrageous sales where the prices are marked down by up to 75%. I once bought a Liquitex Freestyle brush for $ 5 marked down from $ 16. Their sales are definitely worth checking out. Note: Parking is terrible because of the traffic from Pacific Mall. Be careful when driving because there are some aggressive drivers in that area.
