Having a baby is one the greatest joys in life, so why shop at just any baby store? We have quality, high end baby and children’s car seats, strollers, clothes and more. Stop by our baby shop today!
I have been here a handful of times — mostly to research and«window shop» per se for the necessary baby gear. What I like about this place is the fact that they have a lot of brands on the floor to check out and investigate; especially in the stroller and car seat area(which are the big ticket items and coincidentally right at the front of the store) —(I was investigating the babyzen Yoyo, UppaBaby Vista, Peg Perago Book Plus NS, and Britax B-Agile for Strollers) The overall store is a bit cramped for my liking and difficult to navigate; plus not as bright as I would prefer, especially at the back of the store — where most of the other goods are located. The staff can range from fairly helpful to leave you alone, which is fine for me — since I was very clearly there to browse and not really looking to buy anything specific. However, I find that they are a bit more helpful when I went with my partner, since we were actually handling/poking and prodding the products we were interested in. The staff member that was helping us were able to answer most of the questions we had about the strollers and car seats; so I feel that we are a bit closer to making a decision as to what we would be purchasing when the time comes. I, also, like the fact that they have a basket of various baby carriers to try out with a «faux baby» so you can see how the soft carriers would work and thus make a decision accordingly — however, the ones that I am looking to purchase, CanaBee doesn’t carry them at the moment. I’m not 100% sure if I’ll buy the items that I am looking at Canabee, but it is a good place to start, if you don’t know where to start looking.

Woohoo! As good as it gets. that is if you are in the market to waste time! as per sales rep, after spending the required 500CAD to achieve«gold member benefits», all future purchases paid by cash are«tax free». however when you try to cash in on their«gold member benefits», good luck, suddenly you are presented with a list of items that are not included in the benefits, moreover items that are not on the list are subjectively excluded from the«gold member benefits» ie babyzen yoyo. buyer beware, there is a reason why as of 1÷15÷15, CanaBee Baby has earned seven 1 star reviews, a higher percentage of negative reviews compared to their competition.

Made the drive out to Canabee Baby today, and it was totally worth the trip! Was looking for a Quinny Zapp Xtra Stroller, and Canabee is the only store in the GTA that has one on the floor for test drives. For things like strollers, I find that you really do need to test drive first! There are so many different options, and it’s amazing how tricky they can be to work and how much kiddo can hate a stroller after only being in it for 2 seconds. Walking into Canabee Baby, in an upscale Markham strip mall(super easy to access, like 2 minutes off the 404!!), I was immediately impressed by the selection on display. There are soooo many strollers and car seats and accessories, oh my! And that’s just the front of the store, there’s a whole other section just for sleep sacks and clothing, and then a whole other side of the store for all your other baby junk. From bottles and nursing stuff to potties and bath toys, it’s all here! Huge baby proofing section too, including some great fabric barrier baby gates I hadn’t seen anywhere else. Normally, I kind of hate baby store employees. They tend to be either incompetent, unresponsive, or annoyingly pushy, all while ignoring whatever it is that you are asking for. Canabee’s employees were great. They put us right into the stroller that we were looking for, showed me all the features, and helped me compare it to the cheaper last year’s model. They also showed me the competition, but right away pointed out that none of those strollers did what the one I wanted did(parent facing travel stroller). There was no hard sell, no upsell, just straight up info, and questions answered. Nice!!! The stroller I came to see was on sale, they had all the colors in stock, and it was $ 50 cheaper than at Babies R Us — Sold! I’ll always pay another store before I pay ToysRUs anymore money. You pay at the store, and then for any larger item like a stroller and a car seat, you pick it up at the warehouse, is right around the corner. No big. All in all, Canabee is worth the drive. It’s a long drive for me to get to Lil Niblets or Moms to Be and More too, but I found Canabee to be a better experience.
