Bulk Barn

Visited this Bulk Barn yesterday for all my Valentine’s Day baking ingredients. The store is very clean, organized, really appreciated that every single item had a scoop placed on top of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I asked for help.
The only one thing they didn’t carry (not sure if other Bulk Barn locations even carry) were pretzel rods. I was hoping to find them to make chocolate covered pretzel sticks.
I went on their website and used their electronic $ 3 coupon which was nice!

My favourite go-​to place for all my baking needs and snack craving needs lol. Bulk Barn excites me lol… makes me feel like a kid at the candy store! This is the only one left in Markham since the one at Markville Mall closed down few years ago.
This store is clean and organized… no messy aisles or debris on the floor. Products are stocked up. Each product has their own ingredient list and a description on how to use the product. Staff are friendly and always ready to help. Most of the time when a recipe ask for an ingredient you cannot find at the store… staff often knows a substitute or maybe the product you’re looking for is just under another name. Ex. Caster sugar = instant dissolving sugar!
Their bulk buying prices are fantastic and I love the fact that I can control how much I need to buy :) There are so many variety of everything. Ex. there are at least 20 different types of flours you can experiment with: D They often have new products available (now with more gluten-​free options!) and are always up to date with any holiday needs! Since Valentine’s Day is coming up, just stocked up on some cupcake liners with lots of hearts on them ^^
They also have weekly specials for discount on products around the store… can view online! Seniors and students have 10% discount off regular items every Wednesday as well :)

I visit the Bulk Barn every once in a while. The prices are quite reasonable. It’s a clean store, well organized, and they have a variety of interesting products. The staff, so far, have been very kind, and friendly. I’d say the customer service is excellent. Would recommend this place if you are looking for ingredients to bake or cook. Everything seems fresh. Have never bought a product I was dissatisfied with.
