We give the modern world the opportunity to learn meditation according to the ancient tradition of Theravada Buddhism. We also offer religious services and instruction in Buddhism. Everything is offered at no charge.
History
Established in 2006.
Our organization was founded by Venerable Kiribathgoda Ganananda here in Toronto in 2006 under the name Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery. In an effort to reach out to the local community we now provide free Buddhist meditation and religious instruction under the name Buddha Meditation Centre of Greater Toronto.
