Love the sesame seed bagel fresh from the oven. With quire a number of choices for spread, I usually get the cream cheese with lox, garlic and herb cream cheese, or just plain butter. The texture of their bagels are addictive. I don’t request for it to be toasted though, as their toaster is on high /slow setting, it ends up almost burnt. Since the bagels are freshly baked, there is no need for it.

Bagel Nash has been in the Bayview and Laureleaf plaza for as long as I can remember only it used to be What a Bagel. Good on them for going independent although I think I prefer what a bagel, it’s just more what I grew up with and I’m willing to make the extra trip to go. Plus they have attached restaurants at some of the locations. Bagel Nash is a good go-to for buying bagels for home, or getting a quick sandwich with cream cheese, egg salad, tuna salad, you name it. In my opinion their desserts and spreads to go are very overpriced. I make egg salad that tastes the exact same at home. Must try’s include babka and burreckas. Don’t question just try. You will not be disappointed. Just be prepared to take in lots and lots of calories and carbs that are totally worth it :)

Love it. A friend told me about this bagel shop. My mom loves bagels. So we came here to stock up on their bagels at home. Many choices to choose from, even have Montréal style bagel. Mmmmmm my favorite. Their prices are $ 6.50 for dozen, $ 4 for half dozen, or 75cents each. We end up buying only half dozen, which all were pretty much still warm to the touch. Even better fresh out from the oven. Should have bought 1 dozen. Definitely come back here and make this our regular bagel shop.

I love their bagels, there is a hint of sweetness. I buy a dozen and freeze them and have it for breakfast when I want. Eating it fresh from their bakery is even better. I have only tried their bagels so I can’t vouch for anything else. The bagel sandwiches are pricey, so I would recommend just buying the bagel itself.

Neighborhood bakery that always guarantees fresh bread when you want them. While picking up a coffee next doorz, the wonderful smell of fresh baked bread would guide you through their doors into an assortment of bagels, rolls and specialty breads. They also carry a wide assortment of spreads for the individual bagel fix or for you to bring home. They also have some day old breads bagged up under the main displays

For some reason I thought this location was used to be called What a Bagel? Or perhaps I’m wrong and get them mixed up. Anyhow this location pumps out fresh bagels daily. There egg bread is the best I’ve had in uptown — taste light and fluffy.. They also serve cutesy pastries and crossants and prezel!

The food can be good or the food can be bad. There is no guarantee what you will get. We often used to buy premium cream cheese and lox sandwiches with the real lox. Over the past few years the vegetables would often look past their prime, anemic and sometimes downright bad. After some of those experiences, if we were too lazy to go to a better bagel place, we would get the sandwich without veggies. Today was the last straw. The same system ended up with us having lox that was old and going bad. Tasted bad. We didn’t eat the sandwich. We didn’t call them(what’s the point, this is an ongoing problem that is just getting worse and worse), so here is our review. DON’T GOTHERE!

What a nice smell of fresh bread! Nothing beats walking in Bagel Nash Bakery and have all your senses attacked by freshly baked goods. Rolls of Rolls of Artisan bread, bagels and cookies! Then I saw those freshly baked oven warm pretzels($ 1.50) I just have to get one! Salty with a hint of sweetness and with tons of sesames sprinkled on top! It is not really doughy and firm on the outside but soft inside. They do have this little food stand facing the interior of the mall, where you can order fallafel sandwiches and enjoy your food in the seating area. The staffs here are really nice and friendly which is also a pleasure! Cash Only!

This place should be ashamed of itself… it was… until about two years ago… a franchise of «What a Bagel»…then…they kept absolutely everything about the store the same… just changed the name to the(stupid) name Bagel Nash… obviously just to cheat the franchise… everything they serve remains EXACTLY the same… just not right… I’m surprised that WhatABagel doesn’t come after them…

This is a nice local bakery, which has a few other branches around town. They do feature«Montréal bagels»…which come close. They have an assortment of ‘jewish style’ pastries, and a full selection of breads and bagels. These are made fresh everyday. My only reservation, is that they do not use butter for flaky doughs. Oil, margarine, or shortening cannot give these such pastries the flakiness that I like. But where this place shines, is that they also serve fallafel sandwiches. These are large, tasty and fresh. They will also prepare bagels and sandwiches to your taste. Its fresh, its good, its local(for me).
