History
Established in 2002.
In the spring of 2002, education industry leaders Peter Markovitz and David Ullendorff joined with Larry Martinek to start Mathnasium. Larry introduced his teaching methodologies as the Mathnasium Method™ at their first math learning center in Westwood, California.
As evidence of how effective it is, Mathnasium centers have sprung up across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
Today, more than 40 years after Larry first developed it, the Mathnasium Method™ is providing children all over the world increased confidence, critical thinking skills, and mathematical ability to last
Meet the Business Owner
Robyn S.
Business Owner
Robyn has over 12 years of teaching experience in the York Region District School board. She holds a Master of Science in Education, is certified as a specialist in special education, and holds additional qualifications in math, autism, reading and english. She has taught primary, junior, intermediate and special education math.
Having been an educator in the public school board and a mother of two little girls, Robyn understands the challenges children face in today’s classroom. She believes that every child can succeed in math if given the right tools.
Her passion for making math fun for kids is what led her to join the Mathnasium family.
