Established in 2007.

The British Store started in New Westminster, BC in 2007. At the early stages of creating this business we found it hard to stock and have control of the best buy dates. We changed that,

We now Import everything ourselves which in turn keeps the prices down and better control of best buy dates. We listened to our customers, for what they missed from Britain. Our job is to try and fulfill their needs.

Business Owner

Born in Fulham, London, England. Came to Canada 1979. Established an Antique & Collectable store in New Westminster 1997 whilst working in the airline industry for 26 years. In 2007 the Antique and Collectible business started to die so i changed the format into a British Grocery and Sweet shop. Which has now expanded to 2 locations with the 1^st location New Westminster housing a Tea Room.
