Great food ! Big portions at reasonable prices. Love the spring rolls. The staff is super friendly too. If you haven’t eaten here before I highly recommend you give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Three words: Bún bò Hue If you’re a fan of soup, order this and order this now! They do a lot of other great food too. Definitely my favourite spot for Vietnamese food in the city.

If you are just looking for some great food at very reasonable prices, this is where you should go. This is my new favourite place to go for pad Thai or vermicelli bowls. The restaurant isn’t fancy and I don’t think they are licensed to a serve alcohol, but that doesn’t bother me. The staff are very friendly and appreciate your business.

My favourite place to eat in London. Great pad Thai. Even better vermicelli, and amazing spring rolls.

Went back again recently and tried their bun/vermicelli with grilled pork and bbq minced pork. My God, this dish was amazing! Both the grilled pork and bbq minced pork were beautifully grilled and had a really nice smokey flavour to it. And the vegetables were nicely crunchy and fresh with the mint garnish adding a nice flavour touch. The service was very inattentive but I loved the food so much that I ended up not caring about it.

High quailty food at reasonasble prices best describes this resturant. I am addicited to this place as I am here at least one a week. I love the pork fresh roll(A4 on the menu) you get 4 large rolls for around 7 buck great for sharing with someone. Also, the phở with rare beef and beef balls(P10) is deliciious. I get the large and split it with my partner and we are full by the end. The food comes quickly after you order it which is wonderful. Make sure to check out this place.

This restaurant after it got taken over by new owners has THE best pad thai!!! You get so much bang for your buck. The portions are huge(easily shareable between two people) for only about $ 10 and it actually tastes really good. It doesn’t have too much ketchup which is good. Their fried chicken is really yummy too.

Dear mother of God that was one good Pad Thai. Huge portions. So cheap. Makes Thai Express look like amateurs. Edit: I should mention that I also had the rice paper springroll and the traditional springroll. Both were very meh. The traditional one was very skinny and dark(read: very deep fried). The rice paper spring roll looked amazing but was skimpy on the meat and heavy on the noodle filling. The Pad Thai stole the show and this review doesn’t warrant anything less than a perfect score. I would just skip the springrolls next time.

I was craving pad Thai so I went to this place due to good reviews. It was located in a small unimpressive plaza, but hey good food can come from where you least expect. The inside was your average Vietnamese or phở restaurant and we went late so it wasn’t busy. We started with shrimp and pork fresh rolls and it was decent but nothing amazing. Ordered the pad Thai and the waiter asked me if I wanted it spicy, well of course since I love spicy food. The portion was pretty good and wow the taste. If you like spicy food, definitely ask for spicy because it was amazingly spicy without completely covering the pad Thai taste. The overall taste was very authentic If you like pad thai, I would definitely recommend this place, so stop going to Thai express!

Amazing, authentic Vietnamese food. — CHEAP — dinner with aps for 4 people = $ 65 bucks?!? OKAYYYY. — Pad Thai = verryyyyy good!!! HUGE portion. — Vermicelli with chicken vegetables and spring roll. It comes in a bowl, I forgot what it’s called but it was really delicious. I’m more of a fried or sauteed noodles fan so these white boring noodles were just MEH for me. But the chicken!!! I think it was lemongrass. SO great. And the mint that came in the bowl — really adds to the amazing mix of flavors. — Curry squid — get this. just get it. don’t share — grab and run away. main note: BEST. FKN. FRESH. ROLLS. EVUUUHHHH!!! The pork and shrimp ones. Holy mama. 4 for 8 bucks i think, i ate them all. I was forced to share like 2 halves so I was really upset. WOULDCOMEAGAIN!!! Want to try everything. Wish I went to school in London or something… sigh. So many food-portunities missed.

I was perusing Unilocal one day when I noticed a friend had posted some pictures of their meal at Thuan Thanh. The photos looked absolutely delicious and having recently discovered Vietnamese Vermicelli(bun) I thought it would be a great idea to visit this highly recommended place. Upon first inspection, it is easy to overlook this place and judge a book by its cover. Located in a small rundown plaza in East London, this restaurant looks very simple and the bars on the windows are not the most inviting. Once we were inside, the restaurant was bright, clean, and nicely decorated. We were greeted and sat quickly. Right away we had cups and a big pot of green tea on our table. The menu is quite large but we knew what we were coming for. We ordered 2 fresh spring rolls with pork and shrimp as well as pork bun(vermicelli with pork skin and grilled pork with a spring roll added) and chicken bun(vermicelli with chicken and a spring roll). Our appetizer came out within a few minutes after ordering. The fresh spring rolls were quite large in size and the pork was very flavourful. Once we finished these, the bell was rung and our main course was on its way out. I’ve only had this type of dish once perviously about 2 weeks ago. My boyfriend, on the other hand, frequents a popular Toronto restaurant and has this dish quite often. Everything we ate was absolutely fresh and delicious. You can really taste the grill on the pork and the chicken which we both enjoyed. I loved the amount of noodles you get in the dish. My boyfriend was surprised by the amount of pork he received. The dish cost half the price than the Toronto version but had double the amount of meat. Although my Vietnamese restaurant journey has only just begun, I absolutely cannot wait to visit this place again. There are so many more dishes to check out and based on the service, food, and price? I wont think twice!

Amazing food, it’s been a regular spot for me ever since it opened. A must try is the Pad Thai and Bun Bo Hue. Both will leave you feeling satisfied for cheap. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Ate here with my wife and daughter. They had pad Thai and I had spicy stir fry with chicken and veggies. Service was cheerful and fast. Food was fresh tasty and colourful. Portions were enormous. We each took home about 50% of what we were served — enough for another meal. What’s not to like.

Came here after seeing the great reviews! The place is very clean, and the service is excellent. Always refill the water and make sure everything is going good. I ordered wonton soup and pad thai and both were delicious! I am a huge fan of pad thai and it was one of the best ones I’ve ever had. The dishes are quite large so there is a lot of food! I will definitely return to this restaurant!

This place is absolutely wonderful! The staff are friendly(well considering I’m a frequent customer lol) and the food here is delicious! Pretty much everything I’ve ever ordered came out super fast and perfect! Some of my favourites include their pork chops(which come in bigger, thicker and juicier portions than most restaurants) their curry fried rice, and their phở! I tried this place out after my first day of school on my way home and have been there way too many times to count since then. Absolutely my favourite restaurant in London!

Ive had a lot of Pad Thai in my lifetime and this is BYFAR the best Pad Thai I have ever had! The portion is also very large, good enough for 2 people and its only $ 10. The Phở is also delicious and I highly recommend both dishes. I wish this restaurant was available in Toronto so that everyone in Toronto could experience this amazing food! Staff is also very friendly and service is fast. If you are in London, this is a must try!
