Remark Fresh Markets

I usually hit here once or twice a week for certain grocery and pre made food items. Good bakery and soups and fresh produce. Can be pricey but quality seems to be there. Great for specialty items and fresh deli.

Boy, was I excited when I found out there is a Remark Fresh Markets here in London. I moved here from Windsor over 4 years ago, and when I lived in Windsor, I would frequent Remark’s when I was on the South end of the city where it’s located there. This location is in the North side of the city here in London, and I live downtown, so if I am in the area, I will make a stop here, mostly for their ready-​made food.
My favourite ready to eat section is the sushi, and they have an array to choose from. They also have green salads, pasta salads, sandwiches and soups as well. If you’re looking for a meal to take home for supper, they have those too! It’s nice to know there’s a place to go for fresh items daily, or a dinner on the fly, or sushi!

Fresh produce and breads. Nice selection of salads and cheeses. Parking is bad and worse in the winter as snow piles take up many spaces.
I visit a few times a week and the staff is usually helpful.

Remark is one of my favourite higher end markets in the city, they have a great selection for being such a small store. The fresh baked on-​site goods are definitely worth it through. The cheddar chive buns are the best and I find myself often craving the sticky toffee pudding from the huge bakery/​dessert selection every now and again.
Weekends here are PACKED however they always have English staff to keep the check out rilling fairly quickly, and the staff always have a smile on their faces.
Not only do they have a large selection of local fruit and vegetables (especially in the summer) they have a large selection of pre-​prepared foods for take away including hot meals, soup and sushi.
This gem is tucked away at the edge of the city but it’s worth the trip for some great selection.

Just here yesturday with my Mother, amazing store and very attentive/​friendly staff.
I cannot say enough about this store from individualized packing of almost all there big box or bulk items. (Meanings you can buy 1 fish fillet rather then 5, if your single and live alone)

Before finding this food store in had been shopping at farm boy which is great also however the didn’t find the staff very happy. I can now say 1 grocery store that does it very well. Remark — able.
Pros — staff, set up, freshness
Cons — only 1 location

Good produce olive bar n cold meats
A lot of one off things like pop n odd types of cookies it’s one of my favourite places to shop

Oh Remark, you sure are remarkable. This grocery store, while small, packs a serious punch when it comes to unique, local, and special foods. They are equipped with a florist, produce section, sushi bar, deli (hot & cold), butcher, and bakery.
I typically go to Remark for lunch since it is close to work. Their soup bar is always stocked with up to 4 options. Their sushi counter is always stacked and fresh. I enjoy their Rotisserie Roast Pork Sandwich. It is amazing and quite popular, sometimes it sells out, but there are tons of other options (from your typical ham and cheese to roast beef and brie).
The check out is always super easy and fast. They have 80% of the lanes open at all times. The workers are always very kind.
Lately I’ve noticed the parking lot resembles a zoo. With Remark, a Shoppers Drug Mart, a bank, and a Starbucks all in the same area, its getting a bit cramped. Be careful while driving around here (although I cant say other people will be!).
If you want to spend the little extra, but want really unique and tasty items, definitely come to Remark. They don’t stock up on a ton of items like a large chain grocery store but I’m fairly certain you could create a masterpiece with whats available here!
