Having heard so many great things from some of the Unilocalers out there, I knew I had to drop in to La Noisette and see what all the fuss was about! Upon first glance, this place seems like a simple little bakery, nothing too special. However, they do have something pretty cool cooking up in store! Have you tried a bagel bomb?! No? Well it’s essentially bagel dough wrapped around awesome filing to make a little ball of goodness! My friend and I both purchased a pizza bagel bomb. The girl at the counter was happy to explain all the different varieties but we couldnt resist the cheese, sauce, and meat that was waiting inside this thing. She heat it up for a little bit and also prepared us some wonderful Angry Alpaca tea(if you haven’t tried this stuff yet, do yourself a favour and get some. It’s local tea and it tastes AMAZING!). I loved the flavour of the pizza bagel bomb. They put some nice spices on top and the fillings weren’t your typical mozzarella and pepperoni. I believe capicola and provolone as well? It was the perfect little pick me up since we didnt want a big lunch. The bakery was consistently busy! There was always someone at the counter but the service is quick. I believe La Noisette supplies bagel bombs to a few spots in London. I’ll be happy to recommend them to anyone! I want to try the Nutella one next!

Today I broke down and had breakfast. but something different. Bagel bombs… Nice texture to the bagel, inside was bacon and eggs! Tasty! Now I know why everyone raves about them. Nice interior, comfy seats… quiet atmosphere.

This business came into my radar via social media. I’ve been following them on FB way before I even had a chance to step inside their doors. This was pretty foolish on my part as I’ve left drool marks on my shirt from what they showcase on their page. So cue the salivatory glands, as circumstances on the weekend allowed me the opportunity to take a few out of town friends there for a bite. I already knew I had to try their signature bagel bombs and I chose the orginial and breakfast, although every one sounded delightful. They warmed them up just so and the taste was explosive! Yes, I went there. The orginial had cream cheese, bacon and chives enclosed in a poppy/sesame seed bagel and was my favourite. But the breakfast was yummy too, filled with scrambled eggs, bacon and possibly cheese(I can’t remember). These bagel bombs are the perfect on the go meal. Even if you may get your shirt messy. My friends shared a cuban panini, which was created fresh and was very delicious. And their Americanos hit the spot. We shared a maple bacon donut as well and it was a nice subtle sweet/salty mix. The café has several tables and a few comfy couches so it’s an inviting atmosphere. They also carry local Patrick’s coffee and Angry Alpaca teas. They are also the in house caterer for The Cardboard Café, which is awesome.
