I keep reading that the pizza here is the best in London so I thought I would give it a try. My sisters were here visiting and we were craving good pizza and I have to say it was hands down the worst pizza I have had. I have been reading the reviews on here and don’t understand why burnt is an acceptable description for the best pizza in London. The icing on the cake was when I called to ask why our double cheese pizza had a small amount of burnt cheese on it and was told everyone loves our pizza. Then I was offered a discount when I ordered again. Well«Fool me once. «won’t be wasting my money again! I can get better pizza for half the money! I’m only giving it one star as I can’t post a review without it. You don’t even deserve that!

We ordered a double cheese mushroom pizza and the tiny bit of cheese that was on it was burnt and hard and the flavor was so bad even our dog turned his nose up at it, I have tasted better frozen pizza from the grocery store save your money, I tried calling to complain and was basically told too bad…

Probably the best pizza in London. This city has bee disappointing for pizza but that disappointment has finally been lifted by this family run joint. The owner and his son were very friendly. You can tell the ingredients they use here are homemade and fresh. Real mozzarella. Homemade sauce. Large portions. Best bang for your buck. I’ll be back!

Hands down my favourite pizza in town. Been getting their Sicilian style pizza for years. Just tried their panzerotti for the first time this week and I’m back for my second just a few days later. Great friendly service, quality ingredients and fast orders when you get pick up!

I’m on the hunt for a new«go to» pizza place. After reading the reviews of Frank n’ Gus, I decided they would be my next contender. I ordered a large Sicilian style pizza with five toppings for delivery on a Saturday night. I ordered through JUST . I was informed through the website that my delivery would arrive in 45 minutes. My order actually arrived 1 hour and 20 minutes later. Had I received a phone call or an email indicating that the wait time would be longer because of a busy night I would’ve been understanding, however when you’re just waiting for more than 30 mins after expected delivery time? First strike. The pizza itself: positives– loads of quality toppings, order correct and overall tasty. Negatives– the pizza suffered from its extra long car ride. The Cheese had already started to congeal when I opened it. The crust was on the wrong side of almost burned. And… it’s not cheap. This ‘za with tax and delivery was over $ 40. I’ll probably give them another shot but will choose a non busy time to see if that was the issue.

Probably my favourite pizza in London. Frank & Gus used to have a shop in Goderich decades ago, and my parents loved it. They closed up many years ago(not sure but I believe they were open in the 80s). I guess my parents didn’t know that the Goderich restaurant was actually an offshoot pet project of the London restaurant, so when we drove by the London restaurant, my parents saw the sign and HAD to stop. We’ve been coming here for at least 10 years since then. The restaurant is a family business, run by two brothers. We can definitely tell the difference in pizza, and prefer the brother who works Thursday-Sunday. They open up at 3 in the afternoon, and stay open until they’re done, which can sometimes be as late as 5 or 6am. When we’ve been in, the phone is usually ringing off the hook. There is parking around back, and a park next door that’s nice to eat at. The restaurant itself is old and outdated, even bordering shabby — but we always choose to eat in. We’ve got delivery before, but it’s far better straight out of the oven. The restaurant is full of Coca-cola and Elvis memorabilia, they have only 3 or 4 booths, and a few bar stools. The owner’s young children are often around, setting tables and taking orders — it’s completely a family business. The owner is extremely friendly and always willing to chat — he always remembers us when we come in(«all the way from Goderich!»). They have a small TV and lots of newspapers. Definitely don’t expect to be wowed by the interior whatsoever, but it feels like a small family establishment and you’ll get a far better product by eating in. Their specialty is the sicilian-style — we always get deluxe. It has pepperoni, mushrooms, green pepper, lots of high-quality cheese, spices, and thin crust. The mushrooms make it juicy, but the crust doesn’t go soggy. Apparently their regular crust is cheaper, but not as good. I have never tried anything other than the sicilian deluxe, but I’ve heard the cheese pizza, the panzarotti, and the lasagna are all amazing. The only downside to Frank and Gus is that it is quite expensive. A large or extra large is more than enough to feed my family of 4, but it will run you about $ 30 for a single pizza with drinks, don’t expect to get a $ 9.99 walk-in special here. It also does take some time to cook — expect to wait 20 – 30 minutes — this isn’t the kind of place that can crank out a pizza in 7 minutes. If you do get delivery, expect to wait upwards of an hour, as the pizza takes so long to cook and it’s a small shop with limited resources, there’s often a wait before your turn comes up. This kind of pizza is more about quality than quantity(though the pizza itself is filling), This is NOT the kind of place you’d go to order 3 large pizzas as a cheap dinner for your friends. They do not have single slices. Overall, we’ll continue to return every few months — it’s not my go-to when I’m craving a quick slice, simply because of the price, but it’s absolutely worth checking out.

This pizza is simply the best in London. A must try. They offer two styles — Sicilian is slightly pricier but cheesier and more premium, two for one style is cheaper. Both are outstanding for flavor and quality. You won’t be disappointed.

It was really good pizza, but not the best I had in my life. Wasn’t a fan of the burnt crust. Nonetheless, I still like it, and the restaurant being in business for 40 years means that they’re doing a good job. Really good customer service. I would still recommend this place and go there again.

Frank and Gus Pizza has been in business for more then 40 years. That tells you something about their pizza. They have a niche. A tad pricey, but the pizza is HIGHLY addictive! You have not lived until you have had Frank and Gus pizza,(God Is Great!) Located at it’s only location on the corner of Adelaid St and McMahen St, nearly all of their busiiness is take out and deliver. In fact, Frank and Gus Pizza offers late night delivery until 4 a.m. on weekends. If anyone’s has eat in, I’m sure they will agree, the interior is a dive. The atmosphere is dweary… one get the impression the place that has remained unchanged for the past 40 years, other the the occasional quick going over pain job. This is a shame. There is so much potential for this place to become a thriving eat in restaurant. Take over the laundry mat attached to the same building, expand and become a full service restaurant. The food will sell itself.
