This was the coolest part of my visit to London, ON & what could keep me coming back…
The Forest City Velodrome is the only indoor track in Ontario alongside being one of four in North America. I’m excited at the prospect of learning how to ride ‘proper track’ after weaving & dodging cars on Chicago city streets.
Track can be a very dangerous sport however the coaching I witnessed was excellent. There were kids from about 12 through adults in their 40’s zipping around in a frenzy.
The sound of the rubber on wood was just crzy. Only one minor spill & the kid was ok. The season runs from September through April…
