Field Gate Organic

Great quality meat and my most recent visit was rewarded with some sale items that made my overall purchase the same, if not cheaper, than buying meat from the grocery store (which I never do, just making the point). It is worth noting that usually their prices are pretty high but comparable to what organic meat will run you at a retailer. Staff is friendly and there is usually a decent offering of organic vegetables as well.

Fantastic selection of organic meats at this place ranging from various cuts of chicken, beef, pork, and lamb. If you’re looking to shop for organic meat on a smaller budget, the frozen stuff in the freezer is slightly cheaper (I believe they also have frozen seafood in there as well). There’s also a fridge filled with jars of organic yogurt and kefir as well as containers of organic sour cream, milk, butter, etc. And nearby the meat display they have a stand with a small selection of organic fruits and vegetables (mostly apples, lemons, cabbage, carrots, garlic, and ginger). All the meats I’ve bought from this place have been very fresh so I have no complaints. And the gentleman who (I believe) runs the place (Dan Murphy) is very friendly as are all staff members there. That being said, organic meat does not come cheaply so it’s definitely not for everyone. But I would still heavily recommend this place for sure.
