I recently went here with a friend and our kids(her daughter is 6 weeks, my son is 11 months). We had quiche and high tea for two. The quiche was delicious! The portion was generous but perfect for lunch. And the dressing on the side salad was really good as well. This was also my first high tea experience(I had chai, my friend had earl grey — both good!), so having a 3 tiered tray of goodies come out was a really fun experience. Great selection of goodies and very artfully prepared. I think my favorite tier was the top one(desserts!). And mmm… clotted cream :) The owner and her assistant were so nice. We were there for quite a while and never felt like we were being pressured to hurry up and leave. I also never felt like our babies(who were at times noisy) were an imposition — despite breakable the china! I didn’t have a chance to fully check out their British import section, but I’m sure I’ll be back and will look then. Oh, if you’re doing high tea then don’t forget to make a reservation!
