Zambelli Prime Rib Steak & Pizza

Pricey for the quality of food you get. I would say this restaurant would not surprise me if it showed up on kitchen nightmares. Scallops were raw, food was either burnt or wrong. Price was horrendous and waitresses were inappropriate or gross. The restaurant itself looks and smells out dated and the menu is HUGE… needs a makeover majorly.

I’ve only had the pizza there but it’s one of the best in Leduc. Genuine pizza, not fast food cardboard.
You’ll pay for the quality though.

Nice atmosphere with friendly service. Large dining area, but I prefer the lounge. Same menu either side. Menu is large but the pizza (#23 Meat Lovers — recommended) and baked lasagna with meatballs are my favourites.

Went looking for an Indian restaurant, struck out twice, then stumbled into Zambelli’s. The menu was huge; our server was friendly & knowkedgeable, and the kitchen very good. I ordered a small steak with stuffed potato. It arrived with fresh grilled vegetables and the steak perfectly prepared. Easily the best restaurant we found all week in the neighborhood.

My boyfriend’s family and I went here to celebrate a birthday. We were sat right away and everything seemed to be okay… until our waitress arrived.
She took our drink order with our appetizer and when she came back she started to sit everything in front of us. Instead of putting the appi plates down for us to pass around she would literally ask us to lean one way or another. Not just a little lean, but told us to move right out of the way. It was the same with our drinks.
I had my menu open so I could point to what I was ordering. (I couldn’t quite pronounce the name and it seemed easiest to just point while saying it.) I wasn’t the only one that had their menu open, but as the waitress came up she asked us if we were ready to order.
We said yes and then she proceeded to say: «Then close your menus.» We were all so taken aback by her rudeness and bluntness. After closing my menu, then opening it again to order I was given some dirty looks.
Ordered a caesar, it was unbearably spicy and when we asked for another one that was less spicy, she replied that she made it that spicy because she liked it that way.
After all the hassle with the waitress, her rude and strange comments, I finally got my pasta that I ordered. It was bland, flavourless and overly oily.
We won’t be coming back. Ever.

Any place that has the words steak & pizza is always a winner to me. The portions are large, always filling. We had ordered the pizza for lunch one day at work, about 15 pizzas and they were ready quick and were delicious. The outside looks a little run down but dont let that deter you away from the flavourful food. Whenever I order pizza in Leduc this will be my first choice for sure.

My boyfriend and I come here a lot. The fried chicken is wonderful. The staff are great. We’ve always had excellent service.

The pizza is ok and the nachos are good. Service is decent.

Came here for dinner one night and as I was walking in the smell of garlic and who knows what else was making me drool! We had 8 people in our party and were seated right away why we waited for the rest of our party to show up. The décor is pretty homey and open. I liked that you didn’t seem hidden in a corner or behind a wall. I also enjoyed that open kitchen where you can see whats going on.
The waitress was nice and pretty on top of getting drinks when each one of our party showed up. After she took our orders she was good about coming back and checking on our drinks and getting refills.
The food was being delivered and everyone had food but me. At first I thought they went back to get it, than no one came. I was hoping they didn’t forget to make mine but was still worried it was just sitting up there. Once I flagged down the waitress, 5 – 10 minutes, she was shocked and went to go get my food. Luckily it was made and warm! I ordered the NY steak with baked potato and vege’s of the day. I enjoyed the vege’s and the steak and potato was just average. Basically a good steak but nothing to rave about. One person in our party ordered his NY Chicago style and hated it, while another person order the buffalo and thought it was really good.
I would come here again and hopefully they will not forget my food. The price was good for what you get and the smell and ambiance was nice.

My wife and I first experienced Zambelli’s a few years ago when we were camping near Leduc. Always lots of food at an excellent price. The staff are always very attentive.
