Ok food, horrible service most times. I’ve eaten here 6 or 7 times, great location but menu is weak I know the chain is big in BC but they really let this location slide. Very slow servers who stand around and chat.

Met a friend for lunch on Saturday and even tho I have said many times«I won’t go back» I waffled and did! Wish I didn’t! A crowd of children at the door so snuck in behind them to the bar! Had to sneak in as there was no one at the door! Waitress came fairly quick but spoke so fast I had trouble understanding her! And there was only 4 tables occupied so she wasn’t under stress! She didn’t pause long enough to ask if I wanted my salad first or not just brought it! And it was awful! The lettuce was about 2 or 3 days past due date! I didn’t eat it — said something & it was taken off the bill so that was something! The pasta was very spicy but she never came back to ask & I was hungry so I ate half of it! And it was cold! Asked for Parmesan cheese twice & Coke 3 times — still waiting! Wll not ever go back! Have heard rumours it is closing — hope it’s true! Leduc deserves better than this.

Coming from out of town, I decided to stop here as I remember it to be a great place. Well not so much anymore. My son and myself were seated right away but it took almost 10 minutes for our waitress to come say hi and get our drink order. Service the entire time was very slow and hardly ever saw her. The food. my son enjoyed his pirate pals and the pirate ship it came in but my gluten free lettuce wrap burger left much to be desired. It wasn’t really a lettuce wrap so much as four pieces of lettuce thrown around a patty. Trying to get our bill to go was quiet the wait and the manager hand to come over with it so we could pay. It was not as enjoyable as I remembered or hoped. Sadly we won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

Worst white spot ever! No one at door to greet party of 5, sat self and wasn’t served for quite some time. Once food came orders were wrong and food cold/lukewarm at best…

I’ve always had great service. The food has also been great. I get the teriyaki stir fry. Breakfast I’ve had the eggs Benedict.

Gone here 3 times and swore I’d never return each time. It’s a shame because I love white spot… In B.C.

The White Spot menu feels somewhat like Boston Pizza where it borrows from several different styles of food in an attempt to have something everybody would like. I have stuck to the same couple of items when I have come in(quesadilla, stir fry, fajita salad) and never had any complaints. The biggest issue for this location is the service. It seems like anytime I have been in and the dining room reaches half capacity and above the service bombs and wait times essentially double. This used to be a popular spot for me when I lived in Leduc but since moving to Edmonton my mom has never asked to go when I am back to visit so we tend to stick to establishments with more efficient service like Kosmo’s or the Leduc Diner.

Ok I’ll be honest I don’t understand all the hate for this location. Granted I’m not a huge White Spot fan(I’m also not from BC where I think you legally have to love The White Spot to be allowed residency). That being said I’ve gone to the Leduc location a dozen times and never had any issues. If your coming on Sunday for lunch, right when the church crowds get out, then I can see things being slow. Having dinner on a Friday night in the lounge and things are fine. We were here for a family dinner with my aunt and uncle, before they had to pick up someone from the airport. The White Spot is right at the end of town and close to the Highway 2 exit so it was mostly a convenience factor that we came here. That and the fact my aunt is originally from BC and thought she’d be excited to go to a White Spot. She apparently was craving eggs benny, but they only serve breakfast until 4pm. It was 5pm. Good to know for future reference. The service was quick and friendly, and we scored the round corner booth(with lots of room) to sit in. We stayed for well over an hour without feeling rushed to leave. White Spot has standard comfort food fare, but they also have expanded their menu a bit since the last time I was there. I got a quinoa dish that had curried cauliflower, carrots, onions, grapes and cilantro on red quinoa. I love quinoa and especially the red variety(it tastes better to me, but that might be in my head). The dish was delicious, and surprisingly a bit spicy for a chain restaurant. It came with naan bread that was pretty good. I don’t go to the White Spot very often, but I really liked the quinoa bowl and would gladly get it again.

I was at the White Spot for a business dinner today and I was very disappointed. The service was horrible– it took the kitchen two hours to get me my food! And all I had was a pasta dish. On top of that, the food was bland and lacked creativity, flavour, and depth. Check out somewhere else.

I’ve never had such terrible service and awful food. I did end up very ill after eating there. Will not return

Had been to White Spot in the past. Food is comfort food, nothing overly stellar, and if you are looking for fine dining… look somewhere else. But it the food was always good and predictable. This time, Food was less than average. To top it off, service was horrible. Arrived @ 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon, most of the church crowd had already left or was leaving. Got a table immediately, and then had to wait 15 mins before our server came by. We ordered then proceeded to wait 30 minutes for food. Once the food arrived it was at best luke warm. In fact the plate was warmer than the food. A sure indication that it had been sitting under the heat lamps for a while. At this time the restaurant was almost completely empty. Our Server came to our table twice. Once to take our order, and then once to drop off the bill. The food was brought out by some one else. Drinks were not refilled until the bill was on the table. If baffles me to think of what the staff were actually doing during this time as the place was almost completely cleared out. I know one place I won’t be going back to. Sorry White Spot, but this was just unacceptable.

Nicer than the first review would suggest. Def attempting to be a bit upscale. Good selection; the corporate headquarters and the kitchen both try hard. Liked the menu and the service. Food was just fine, but failed to have any«wow» factor. Too little salt? Who knows.

Comfort food not fine dining, menu changes often things like meat loaf, curry, burgers. I had the hot turkey sand with cranberries, dressing, gravy and mashed Better than expected and the coleslaw is wonderful(it is the sunflower seeds)
