The first time I was there, I bought a glass bottle (sort of like a water bottle) to drink tea on the go. Before I bought it, I asked the sales lady if the glass was safe for hot water, would it crack? The lady assured me it would not and that she has one herself.
But sure enough, the first time I used it, while pouring hot water to steep my tea. The glass started to crack, almost half way down the bottle.
A couple of days later, I went back to return it, with receipt. I was told I could not get a refund or even exchange, as sales are final, even for defective items. I told her this policy was no where on the receipt. It made no difference to her, she just ignored me after that. I told her I would never come back to this store again, and it’s too bad because I buy tea regularly!
