I’m really tempted to rate this restaurant offering five stars but then I have to reality check myself that it is food court Chinese food. It is however pretty tasty-amazing. I’ll explain the deets so you can see where I’m coming from. Service offering is typical for these kind of Chinese food court restos. You can have rice or noodles with one buffet item, two items, three items or(the fat man special) four items. The selection is plentiful. Lots of your typical chicken dishes. Amazing vegetable dishes. They had one of my favourite braised Japanese eggplant and even fried green beans. Manchu Wok must be quivering in their kiosk with their sad vegetable offering. It’s great to see a restaurant one up all the others in terms of selection! There is also dim sum offered here. However I caution this selection later on in the day as who knows for how many hours the dim sum has sat there for. Overlooked dim sum gets rubbery and gross. Dim sum is only good when fresh. My selection on my visit was the braised eggplant, bang bang chicken and the grilled chicken. Here’s the rundown: Braised eggplant 5⁄5. Amazing soft succulent and flavorful with carrots and zucchini. Bang bang chicken 3.75÷5. Not quite crispy but flavour was good and you didn’t get those fried pieces of dough that drive me nuts at some Chinese places trying to check out. Grilled chicken 5⁄5. I can’t believe is is food court chicken. Tender flavorful morsels with a nice grilled flavour. Noodles 3÷5− salty but acceptable in a soy sauce base. If you are in search of hangover food this stuff is perfect. Greasy, salty and delicious. It is a bit heavy so I’d recommend mixing in some veggies with that tender fried or grilled chicken! Not the healthiest but once in a while won’t kill you.

This place reminds me of Manchu wok with a different name and offers food that is way fresher. Their dim sum is pretter good but not spectacular! It’s a new resto situated in the middle of the carrefour laval food court. It has a vibrant look with their logo and very attractive to the naked eye. The service: was super quick and friendly. The girl explained how everything works. Not so difficult! You got a choice of rice or noodles and then combo 1 you have two extra choices Combo 2 you have 3 extra choices Combo 3 you got 4 extra choices. Choices are limited but very good indeed. The food: very fresh which I’m oddly surprised! I came at around 8pm when there is about 1hour left until carrefour laval closes. I can’t complain at all food was excellent. There’s 3 different kinds of chicken(mango chicken, general tao and grilled chicken) there’s veggies, chow mien and dim sum. You even can have dim sum in your soup. Overall, it’s pretty decent for a new food joint and i’ll definitely be back soon!

I went twice with their ‘Combo 3′ option which consists of either noodles or rice with 3 selections of your choice(with about 20 options) to go with your meal. Thus far I tried the mango chicken, the bang bang chicken, the grilled chicken and the pepper beef. My ratings go as follows : Grilled Chicken: 5⁄5 Yummy! They do grilled chicken right with a sweet sauce that make my taste-buds happy after some serious shopping. Will get this every time I come here! Bang Bang Chicken: 4⁄5 Tangy and flavorful this chicken is a nice compliment to the sweet grilled chicken sauce. Will choose this often on consequent re-visits. Rice: 4⁄5 Big portion(probably to give you less main food) but it’s fresh and tasty. I’d like to try the noodles next time. Mango Chicken: 3⁄5 Tastes like… mild mango and chicken? It’s OK but I will try something else next time. Pepper Beef: 2⁄5 I thought the taste was a bit light on the pepper and there was too much«cream». Wouldn’t have it again. All in all, solid food court grub. Service is quick and friendly.
