We had terrible service from our Menage Pro cleaning lady. She damaged things regularly (scratching our walls, cleaning the oven with extremely corrosive spray without removing the pans underneath thus completely destroying all of them, etc.) When she first came to offer her services, she told me to let her know if anything was ever damaged because she’d happily repair or replace anything, but when I politely and gently approached her about the oven pans, she was dismissive at first: «Oh, I guess I forgot to take them out when I cleaned the oven.» And when I asked if she’d be willing to reimburse us or replace them, she flew off the handle. It’s pretty hard to trust someone in your home when they don’t show the necessary care or respect for their surroundings.
