It’s odd how 2 places with the same name can be so different. This Chez Gerard hot dogs are smaller the same price and more soggy even there burgers are not as good. Just avoid this one go to the other one on concord, it’s not that far apart but it’s way better.

I’ve probably driven in front of this Chez Gerard a thousand times during the last decade and always felt like going in. It finally happened and the experience ended up being rather disappointing. Chez Gerard feels like yet another generic Belle Province experience with a higher price tag attached to it. I ordered a steamie, poutine and chicken sandwich. I found the poutine small as well as very mediocre. The chicken burger looks amazing but it somehow lacked flavor. I’ve rarely eaten a mediocre chicken burger in my life regardless where I go… but Chez Gerard somewhat managed that. The steamies was the best part of my meal and let’s be honest here… when the steamies is the best part you eat somewhere for lunch… something felt short somewhere. No thanks, huge MEH for me.
