Pretty good, not amazing or anything but you do get bread, coffee, ice cream, salad or soup with every entrée ordered so it’s a pretty good deal for what u pay. I usually get the manicotti which is about $ 13.

I used to love going to the OSF in gastown years ago. I remember the food being great and the price was right. So when my kids and I saw Langley had one I was excited. Service was great. Our server made sure we had anything we needed and he was fantastic and does not reflect this 3 star rating. If it wasnt for him and the manager this would have been a 1 star. The food was not good. Not at all like I remembered. I had chicken parmesan. It was ok at best, but the pasta sauce tasted like it was straight out of the jar. There is no way they make their own sauce. Jarred sauce. Salad was squares of iceberg lettuce with some shaved carrots, bread was very dry and tasted reheated. Cheese on the chicken parm was rubber. HOWEVER my server noticed I didnt eat much of my meal. I told him I just wasnt a fan. He offered me anything else on the menu. No thanks. Manager came over offered me something else. I politely declined and thanked him. They took my meal off my bill which was very appreciated and handled well. So, hats off to those guys but sorry man the food here sucks.

Went for lunch with my aunt and my 2 year old son. The service has definitely gone downhill. I paid for an overpriced chicken parmesan that tasted like a frozen dinner entrée. My son’s kids meal took forever to arrive, our meals arrived first. Drinks were never re-filled. Food was not checked up on. The bathroom was absolutely filthy. I ended up walking out without using it. I used to have fond memories of the OSF with my family growing up and was hoping my son would have the same but it doesn’t seem like he will based on our experience here.

Had my birthday party here on Saturday. Not impressed at all. The service was horrible. Not only did they want to seat us at two different tables, they also took forever to take our orders which meant that some of the friends had to get their food to go as they had young kids who needed to go to bed. Then the french onion soup we had was horrible, not at all like the type we have enjoyed at other old spaghetti factory restaurants. They have also changed the bread… disappointing to say the least. The worst part was when one of our couples has to leave very quickly due to a family emergency. They paid their bill at the bar and when we were about to the waitress said they hadn’t paid… though they said they had paid by debit. I told them this and she said she’d check all the machines and came back asking us to pay for the meal as it wasnt paid. I finally called the couple who were busy dealing with a big family emergency and had to disturb them because she didn’t check the bar machine. So in the end we didn’t have to pay twice for a meal but it is completely unacceptable behaviour. This was supposed to be a casual birthday dinner that turned into a stressful event due to lack of professionalism. Had the server actually checked all the machines we wouldn’t have been asked a second time to pay for a meal that had already been paid for and we would have not had to disturb people who were dealing with a serious family issue. I will not be going back to this location ever again. I understand if they had run out on the bill however if someone is saying they paid with debit check ALL the machines in the location before asking for payment again. Completely unacceptable

Going to the Old Spaghetti Factory takes me back to my childhood when we use to go to the one in gas town. Their bread… Delicious… I could eat 4 loaves and put myself in a gluten coma. I love the old charm and the photos from the area that show the history. They have since ditched this. Yesterday there was no placemat outlining Langleys history. The server said they were going for a more contemporary feel. Too bad I loved that about them. What are they going to do to the Gastown location? I pretty much stick to the same thing every time. Managers Favourite with rich meat sauce and clam sauce. It gives me the best of both worlds. I actually really like their meat sauce. Its delicious. Now for the folks who are use to high end pasta; this restaurant will seem kind of plan in comparison. It is definitely watered down Italian. My honey is more adventurous. He’s ordered the tortellini, chicken parmigiano and the spicy meat sauce. For the price the chicken parm is pretty good. What I like about the Old Spaghetti Factory is you leave feeling full for under 40 for two adults. I know as a kid my mom appreciated their amazing prices. Where else can you get a salad, entrée, bread, dessert and tea or coffee for the price of your entrée. The servers are usually friendly and helpful which is nice when you just want to get your food and enjoy your time eating out. Usually always have a decent experience. If you love their spamoni ice cream like I do they sell it by the 11.4litre tub for 40.00. We’ve bought one before and it was very satisfying. Like a fat kid in a candy story happy :)

Fantastic Restaurant for Quality Food at a Good Value… Great Service, and Convenient Location, close to the Langley Movie Theatres. I highly recommend this establishment.

The ambiance of the restaurant is nice enough, but the food and the service is average at best! The pasta they serve is boring and not even that well prepared. For the price you pay at the OSF you’re better off throwing a couple of linguine in a pot of boiling water at home and dumping a glass of organic Costco tomato sauce on it. You’d save a lot of money and the food would be just as good!

My family seems to like coming here because it’s somewhat central to all of us and can handle a group. Unfortuneately, I am not a great fan of pasta, but I will give a nod to their shrimp curried linguine. It’s a great big restauarnt that seems to be run well enough to get huge groups in and out with smiles on their faces(and the staff too.) Prices are resonable and the décor is nice.

The Old Spaghetti Factory is a family style restaurant, so don’t expect haute cuisine. As you can tell by the name there’s a lot of pasta on the menu, but if you’re watching your carbs or hate pasta and were dragging unwillingly into this restaurant you still have loads of options. I went with the 8 ounce New York steak(medium rare) with mushrooms, spaghetti and spicy meat sauce for $ 16.75. All entrées include a choice of Minestrone soup or salad, Sourdough bread with whipped garlic butter and Spumoni ice cream. I chose the minestrone soup to start as I’m not a big fan of food that can be considered good for you. The soup was red, hot and filled with loads of vegetables(but I forgive them for that). The taste was mild, but flavorful. My entrée arrived and looked appetizing. I cut into my steak to find that it wasn’t cooked to my order, but done to medium well. The spicy meat sauce on the spaghetti wasn’t really very spicy, but still enjoyable. For dessert I had the Spumoni ice cream(hey, it’s included in the price), a combination of pistachio, chocolate and vanilla ice cream. It was a nice way to end the meal, but I won’t be looking for Spumoni in my local dairy case any time soon. This wasn’t my first visit to an Old Spaghetti Factory and even with a couple of hiccups this time, it won’t be my last.

The day the ginger forgot our drinks!!! Our waitress brought everyone else refills but completely forgot our tea and iced tea. She did have a good sense of humor with eight people at the table. Food was ok as the spaghetti was undercooked and spicy meat sauce was suitable for someone recovering from stomach surgery, mild if that. All in all food value so ill be back

Decent food and service. This location boasts a large selection of tiffany-like glass including the lamps and chandeliers over the tables and also a very very large glass dome over the back part of the place. Service was decent but not nearly as accomodating of food restrictions as the other location.(THere we had fresh fruit exchanged for the usual ice cream dessert, to accomodate some with dairy allergies). We enjoyed our meals and our spot in the sun, where we didn’t feel crowded or rushed to leave. Can’t argue with The Old Spaghetti Factory pricing, all included meals are a wonderful affordable way to go and I even have a decent chunk from my $ 20 in order to leave a decent tip. Gluten free menu is much appreciated by a few. Decent group experience.

I have been eating at one location or another of the old spaghetti factory since I was little so for over 20 years. Maybe it is just nostalgia but I love this restaurant chain. It is where I choose to go every year for my big family birthday dinner like clockwork. The Langley location does not disappoint at all. The food is good and the quantity is great. The service has always been great when I have been to this location be it for lunch or for dinner. The food is quality but not high class which I think is what I really appreciate. I am not a fan of fancy places where you have to dress up to go out. I just want to grab a nice dinner quickly and move on. The décor of this place is on par with every other location. The stain glass and the old feel of all the decorating here is great. It almost feels like a blast from the far gone past. So if you are looking for good home cooking, look no further than the Old Spaghetti Factory Langley. Maybe take a date and make it dinner and a movie.

We were hungry and too tired to cook so went here last night for supper. Service is friendly, soup and bread was yummy and spaghetti and meatballs were ok because they could have put a wee bit more sauce on the pasta because it was a little dry. All in all, it was alrite and we will go back but ask for more sauce on the pasta tho!

Your Mama would want you to eat at the Spaghetti Factory… Mama knows best that’s for sure. Consistently fresh ingredients, flavourful, well prepared and in a timely manner; that’s a recipe for success that the Spaghetti Factory has been loyally following for decades. Simple north American-style Italian fare, you’d be a fool to take a pass. Tanya’s service was second to none as she hurriedly dashed off carefully dodging a very busy dining floor to hand in our appy & drink order. If you’re like me, you’ll order the managers special with your choice of pasta and sauces. My fave is Linguine with a creamy rich white sauce(or pesto) and clams accompanied with spaghetti with a dark savory meat sauce. I love the variety of this option. Our entrée included a fresh crunchy green salad, warm endless sourdough bread and real butter garnish. You may also enjoy a tasty home made soup if you ‘re not into salad. The New England style Clam Chowder was a winner in my books, plump clams and that fresh taste of the sea is always satisfying for any seafood lover. The next visit I sopped up the most lip smackinly good Pesto sauce I’ve ever tasted with still warm, chewy sourdough bread. I love the Pesto sauce smell and taste; fresh aromatic Basil and buttery pine nuts all swimming in copious amounts of cream, butter and cheese. Yum! I swilled coffee while greedily devouring the included spumoni ice-cream. A complete meal including bevies, bread, salad and desert… definitely a no– brainer. Amazing attentive service, great fresh food and value make the Spaghetti Factory a excellent choice for everyone! My only concern was the lighting could be placed better, more directly over the tables,…remember we eat first with our eyes, then with our nose and lastly with our tongue. Well done Brandon and the staff at O.S.F. Your efforts should be the standard for all restaurants! The Old Spaghetti Factory, Langley… You should go,…and bring the whole family!

Was very surprised by the interior of this building. From the outside it seems like a normal, run-of-the-mill restaurant but the inside is so much more. The tacky carpet look actually made feel like I was dining in an expensive hotel from the 1950’s. Not really sure if that makes any sense but it sure looks neat on the inside! Service was good as usual and they serve wayyyy too much food(as usual). Price was decent and beer selection a tad slack but I give this place a solid 3.5 stars(4 stars rounding up).

Great food, great prices. Kids menu is great, grown up food too. Unlike some pasta places, the prices are reasonable. We go here for lunch or dinner whenever possible. Only complaint is that the Caesar salad is not worth the price. Spaghetti and meatballs is simply excellent.

We came here with a large group. After living in Vancouver all my life I’d never been to Old Spaghetti factory(despite having one conveniently located in gastown), so i was excited to give it a shot. The food came out lukewarm and reminded me of my bachelor days where most nights i would cook up some sort of pasta with chorizo and canned tomato sauce(i made this because it was basically the only thing i could make and because it was a super cheap meal). So I won’t be going back to OSF, because in order to get three stars from me a restaurant has to give me at least the desire to go back. If I’m forced to go to a giant chain Italian restaurant take me to Olive Garden.

This was one of the better places for my wallet where I had dinner at during my travels through this area. The Langley location is right off Hwy 1, next door to the White Spot and across from the Colossus IMAX cineplex. I was reluctant to have dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory since I had a «not so good» experience at a US location(Duarte, CA) a few years ago. I got sick there and the service was not stellar. The US locations are typically in an old schoolhouse. I strolled in here for an early evening dinner recently and was seated immediately. The restaurant has a bar area with TV in the front and ample booth and table seating throughout the place, high ceilings with exposed vent pipes, exposed brick walls, and plenty of stained glass. The menu(thin paper) offers typical Italian American fare including plenty of spaghetti/pasta dishes with several different sauces offered. What is great about The Old Spaghetti Factory, is that the dinner entrees include sourdough bread with whipped butter, salad or soup, coffee or tea, and dessert(spumoni) for one«it’s all included» price. I had The Manager’s Favourite($ 10.95) which is spaghetti with choice of any two sauces. The bread loaf was warm and the garlic butter was decent. The minestrone soup was decent too. The entrée, half & half of mushroom sauce & white clam sauce over al dente spaghetti was very good and tasty. The dessert was a small scoop of refreshing ice cream. The service was pretty good and attentive. I got refills on ice water, refills on cups of coffee, additional bread & butter, and my food came out quickly. The price of the meal was a great tasty deal, especially in Canada, eh.
