Awful customer service, my girlfriend and I went and had lunch together. They forgot her tea… they never refilled out drinks. I had to stand beside my table with my cost on to get a servers attention that we were ready to leave (after waiting 15 min with our plates stacked up) I would also like to mention it was not busy at all!!! Staff was hanging out inside talking… when I went to get change the server wouldn’t even look me in the eye when talking me… she looked at the ground and turned her back to me.

The food was good but the manager is very rude and they forgot one of our meals. I don’t recommend this place unless you want to be yelled at for opening a window and don’t want your food within a hour

Went for Mother’s Day. It was super busy, we wanted to sit outside but they didn’t have very many tables that could accommodate our size unfortunately! So, we ended up sitting inside (I should mention there were 6 of us, not a large group by any means). Anyways, the inside was loud but our service was really good. The waitress took her time and answered all our questions. The food was AMAZING! Our group had the veggie burger, the salmon burger and the fish and chips. All were very well done, and tasted great!
The only reason I’m giving 4⁄5 is because of the confusion and lack of outdoor seating large enough for our group.

Second time around and I am a much happier customer. Service was good, place was cleaner, and we left on a good note. Could use a few improvements still; more craft beer, smaller/​cheaper poutine, and larger/​cheaper wings.

Great restaurant. Came across this pub during lunch time and I have to say… Presentation of the restaurant was flawless with it’s vintage look and chill atmosphere. I decided to try the toad in the hole!!!

I love the Fort Pub. I have been going there for the past few years, and I have never been disappointed with the food or drinks. The appetizers are particularly good, and I like the variety of cocktails to choose from. The only flaw, I would say, is that the service does tend to be rather slow. All in all, I would say that as long as you are not in a rush, a great place to eat with a great atmosphere!

I am so impressed! They have now added a great new entrance by the outdoor patio area on the South side that completely avoids the smoking area on the North side of the pub. Plus they have added more outdoor patio seating and some cool high patio tables. It is nice to go to a pub and get a good quality green salad, cranberries and all. I also like eating beef (in my hamburger) that is grass fed organic. Drink specials are appreciated and great service. Not pretentious. Not the place to go if you are a snob. Nice job Fort Pub.

ok, I admit it– this isn’t the same place it’s been.
For starters, Al sold the Pub a few years back, and the new owner made some changes that the locals don’t like. I guess it was redesigned as a cookie– cutter bar to draw in the city folk and bedroom crowd that feel comfortable in generic surroundings?
The bikers, natives, and blue collar workers still come here, though– but it is the only watering hole in town.
The pool table still exists, and yes, its still free on wednesdays.
If you come in alone to practice a few rounds, though, you might get the rough treatment– especially if you’re not from around these parts.

Standard C– pub. Not a destination. Generic beer. Food is just ok. Staff was friendly but service (for other than beer) was lacking.

I can’t describe this place in one word. I would say it’s a pleasing combination of rustic, spacious, clean, open and charming! My first visit happened on January 15, 2014 to watch a friend perform music there. The patio is covered and not uncomfortably chilly at all as there were overhead heaters. It was a busy Wednesday night but the service was friendly; it took a tad bit on the long side for our food and beverages to arrive but the ‘crowdiness’ of the spot makes it understandable. The manager came out with free wings and one server was passing a platter that contained free spring rolls and chicken skewers. Overall, it was a very nice experience way out there in Fort Langley making the drive (and toll bridge charges) worth while.
By the way, the menu had symbols to denote which items are gluten free and which are vegetarian… I consider that a very nice bonus!

good pub grub. ride your bicycle along the fort to fort trail from the derby reach park (30 mins or so) and stop here for a refill and continue on to the island trails or go back. Love the really cold beer…

Decided to give this place a few more tries after recent Reno and happy to say its much improved. Food quality is better,
$ 5 burger and fries on Mondaya are great. Beer is cold, service is generally pretty good and they have a great DJ on the weekends!

Probably the rudest server we’ve ever met. First points at a table by the doorway (plenty of other options available) and commands «sit here». Please or would you like to is usually the line… We say no, we’d rather sit there and sit our preferred table at the end of the deck (same seating size and no other customers waiting we would interfere with). Comes out and calls down the deck, «it’ll take me while to get down there». Really– one table seated ahead of us and 20 ft to walk at most? We left, and seeing the food reviews we’re glad!

Not great food; server was nice but took forever to get our food, then when I wanted my soup to go, she brought over the styrofoam bowl and practically threw it in there splattering it everywhere. Kinda ghetto. Will be moving to Bedford Landing soon and we will never go back there again.
