This is my all time favourite sushi place. My husband and I come here all the time. They know us by name. The service is always excellent and the food is incredible. Large menu with lots of options. Tons of vegetarian options. The ebi sunomono is so good! We always bring friends here and they quickly become regulars.

I can’t say I will be going back to RA sushi. The food is ok but it’s pricey and the selection isn’t great. There are much superior restaurants in the area. I’ve tried a variety of the rolls as well as the teriyaki and nothing really stands out.

Food was so yummy. Service was a bit slow due to them being busy and only 2 people in the front. Really nice staff working here. Prices are pretty good too.

I’m pretty impressed by this little place. I was in a rush for lunch and had a hankering for some sushi — this place fit the bill. Warmly welcomed as I entered and quickly served. Menu has lots of variety — it was my first time here so didn’t really know what to pick. Had the«Langley Special». Just enough. I only wished the server would have come back to refill my tea and water — not a huge concern but still would have been nice. Overall, not the best in Langley but the best one I’ve tried in WG. I’ll be back.

Was my first time ordering from there. Called them up and I have to say whoever answered the phone(female) was the friendliest order-taker I’ve ever encountered! Food was ready quickly, not expensive at all, and quite tasty. When I went into the store the staff was all very friendly. Will definitely be back!

I have gone to Ra Sushi for several years now, and it is fabulous! Ra and Joan are wonderful and always very friendly to all who come in. And as far as prices, it is about the most affordable sushi I have found anywhere. We have tried about everything on the menu over the years and have liked just about every bite. Ra even lets us be guinea pigs and taste test some of his new creations before they put them on the menu. If your looking to try something a little healthier and different, order your roll with the Black rice. It will cost a little more but we like the flavor so much more then traditional white sticky rice.

Very tasty sushi, and a good variety of combinations, bento boxes, and rolls. Nice atmosphere, and good prices.

One of the better sushi spots in the ‘grove. We frequently go here for lunch. They are fast, efficient and super friendly. On my first visit, my coworker was disappointed as the«good» waitress wasn’t working that day. I guess she gives him free soup and rice. He ordered one of the bento boxes. I then pointed out to him that all the boxes come with rice and soup. ha! But even without the free extras, the servers are friendly and allow you to make substitutions without any eyerolling, huffing or extra charges. I appreciate that. I only ever get the vegetarian options. Really good teriyaki tofu and the veggie bento box has lots to offer. My coworkers get the fish rolls which are apparently quite nice. And no one has ever gotten sick, which a huge bonus. Reasonably priced, friendly service and yummy food. Make sure you get there early or you might have a bit of a wait.

Another good sushi spot in Walnut Grove We are blessed here in the Grove to have at least 6 sushi places now. Ra Sushi is pretty good, I have been happy with everything I have had there. On my last visit I had Nigiri(Tako, or octopus) and it was not as chewy as most places are. I’ll get it again! The spicy real crab dynamite roll could have been more spicy, but I guess I could wasabi’d it up a bit. Sticky rice was sticky and delicious. The owners are a husband and wife team, and are very friendly. I should add a caveat: I am not a sushi ‘expert’ by any means, but I do enjoy trying everything it has to offer. I’ll work on learning more!
