Awesome place to stop for lunch! The food is amazing and oh do good! I will definitely be coming back and will be recommending it to all my friends!

We have been frequenting this great, difficult to find, hideaway for the past four years. We have been to Montréal a few times and have always marvelled at the Montréal smoked meat available there. Thankfully we do not have to sit on an airplane for 5 hours or more to enjoy one of our favourite treats anymore.
Although not a whole lot to look at the interior is clean and there is enough Tables to enjoy your meal on premise or you can take it with you as take out. We often bring the meat itself home and enjoy it for dinner with home made soup and bread.
The food here, especially the Montréal smoked meat, is outstanding! I have clients that live in Vancouver proper who make the trek out to Langley to enjoy this scrumptious treat.
Thankfully we live close and can enjoy this amazing place after a short walk and a shorter drive.
Do yourself a flavour favour and check Estrella’s out, you will not be disappointed.

Here for a early lunch. Has the small corn beef sandwich with Dijon and a pickle with a side poutine to share. The meat is SO tender and flavourful. The marbling is heaven. My husband said the large sandwich is unreal and you have to be super hungry to eat it all. Poutine was magical. Gravy goooooodness.
I recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a happy belly!

A perfect 5. Hands down service was good. The rueben is amazing. If you blink you will miss it it’s a small place that packs a big punch.

OMG where do I even begin? Went here after reading the reviews with my husband for lunch and I literally could smell the meat from outside! Had me salivating before I even walked in the door. Have to say the Rueben and Poutine are WELL worth the money ten times over! Friendly staff, clean establishment and they had diet cherry coke, they have my 5 stars all day long!

Disappointed after reading all the positive reviews. I ordered the roasted red pepper panini and an Americano. The sandwich was nothing special… And the coffee was gross. I ended up throwing my coffee away it was so weak and bad. The lady who served me was in a bad mood and was drinking behind the counter the entire time I was waiting for my order. Maybe I had a one-​off bad experience, but not convinced I would go back to give the place a second chance.

FINALLY, a deli with authentic smoked meat sandwiches! One of the things I miss about living in the east was my easy access to smoked meat sandwiches. I finally found it at Estrella’s after a laborious search all over Vancouver (who would’ve ‘thunk’ it that it would be tucked away in an industrial part of Langley!) The smell when I walked in made me miss my favorite delis in Montréal, Toronto and NYC but made me reaalize this could be the real thing. We ordered a Classic (medium) Reuben on Rye with Dijon. The smoked meat is made in house and it was nicely spiced; had just enough fat to make the meat tender and the smoke was not overwhelming. The bread was grilled panini-​style which gave the sandwich a nice bite. (I would probably butter the bread before grilling to give it some moisture but that’s minor.) The perfectly tart sauerkraut was surprisingly sandwiched between the meat which cut through the richness of the meat while the nutty swiss cheese was nicely melted to keep the sandwich together. I’m so happy I might try the Montréal (large) size next time.

Had to go to Langley to pick up a bandsaw blade so I checked Unilocal for a likely place for lunch. Estrella’s was highly rated so we tried it. The mochas were good, the Poutine was great, the roasted red pepper soup was even better with just a hint of that aromatic pepper tinge, and the Montréal smoked meat sandwich on rye was incredible — a huge mound of thinly sliced meat that you could order lean or marbled — marbled of course — that melted in your mouth. The huge half dill pickle was a great side. Like Armold, I’ll be back.

Took the 8 minute walk from my work in the sweltering heat based on the 5 star review of this sandwich shop. Wow, was it ever worth it!!! I took a Montréal smoked meat sandwich and poutine to go. Got back to work and was blown away. Rich meaty gravy, loads of squeaky cheese, perfect fries. Brilliant. My sandwich… Dijon mustard, piles of warm, juicy smoked meat and fresh bread. Absolutely wonderful sandwich. The shop was clean and cozy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I will be back!!!

Excellent authentic deli food. Only place I know with truly great Montréal smoked meat around here. Great service, great food.

Having been to Schwartz’s in Montréal this is the closest I have come to that special joy quality smoked meat brings. The fact that they are within a 10 minute drive from my home… its incredible

Smoked meat sandwich and poutine are the best try in the restaurant. They are both fill you up quite well. Make sure you are ready for it.

I love the grilled paninis– especially the Italian. My co-​workers love the turkey and red pepper. Try the fry spice. It is awesome.

Amazing poutine was amazing. Very delicious and would go back again just for that! Yum! Lady that took my order was very friendly too!

Excellent poutine & Montréal smoked meat. Coleslaw is good too! A little pricey, but the good stuff usually is.

Oh. My. God. The poutine. First, let me say that while poutine is a simple dish, it’s also simple to screw up. Crappy fries will get soggy. Runny gravy will make even good fries limp. Gravy that isn’t hot enough will fail to melt the cheese curd. And if there is no curd? Well…
Luckily, this place has it down! The fries were perfect, the gravy was piping hot, and the cheese curds were the real deal. Add smoked meat to the mix, and it was a perfect plate. Even my mother in law, who isn’t a poutine fan, thought it was mighty fine.
The smoked meat sammies are also fabulous. The have various sizes (I had the petit) with various «leanesses» of meat. To also comes with a house made pickle (talk about bite!) and a choice of mustard. I abstained from the mustard, as I’m not a fan, and just had my meat on a nice, soft, light rye. It was a Sammie I was almost sad to finish.
My mother in law had a turkey and roasted red pepper panini, and the bite I had made me want to go back tomorrow. Everyone else had the smoked meat, and everyone left happy.
The place is tiny and easy to miss, but it’s worth hunting for. Awesome food, friendly, efficient service, and a steady stream of people who were obviously relays made me wish I could make this spot a go to of mine.

Best smoked meat Sammy I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried a few. Poutine home made and perfect! Will be back
